Villa Begur is a beautiful, family-owned six-bedroom villa with its own private pool (4.3m x 6m) and a spectacular roof terrace overlooking the sea. Spacious, privately run and well-equipped, it's the perfect base for a family or group looking to explore one of the most beautiful corners of the Costa Brava.

Sleeps up to 13 guests (maximum 10 adults) across 3 en suite doubles, 2 twins and 1 triple (bunks + single), plus a family bathroom.

A few highlights worth knowing: the roof terrace has a built-in barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven — perfect for long evenings outside with the sea views as a backdrop. The villa also has a games room with table tennis, table football and a basketball hoop, and all linen, bath and pool towels are included. A midweek clean is included in the price, a welcome pack awaits on arrival (including wine!), cots and high chairs are available free of charge, and there's an electric car charger.

The villa sits between the medieval town of Begur and Sa Riera beach, both around one mile away. Begur has cobbled streets, excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Sa Riera is one of the jewels of the Costa Brava, with a wide sandy bay and crystal clear water. We recommend having a car for supermarket trips, though both are easily walkable.

The whole villa is yours for your stay. We're available by phone, text or email whenever needed, but otherwise leave you to enjoy it in complete privacy.

Fabulous villa for a family stay

This villa is well equipped and spacious enough for a great family stay. We were 8 adults and felt very comfortable. There is lots to do in the villa just as described in the listing. The surrounding area has lovely restaurants and beaches. The drive way to the house is a bit steep but you get used to it. You'd certainly want a car here to make the most of the area.

A family get together in Begur

We were 3 generations of family members travelling from the UK and Australia to meet up with ages ranging from 24 to 87. We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa despite slightly dodgey weather which meant we couldn't take full advantage of the roof terrace and pool. Plus points Roomy villa with very well appointed kitchen and communal areas Terraces facing every direction which meant you got the sun somewhere until early evening (September) Views to the sea and the Medes Islands Easy walk for those with no mobility problems into Begur for drinks, shopping, dinner etc Good leisure facilities including table tennis, table football, roof BBQ, boules pitch and wifi. Minor niggles We struggled to get the TV to work - we think someone had played around with the wires before we got there...... didn't matter as we weren't bothered by the TV If you have mobility problems then walking to/from Begur is a challenge - my mother could get there slowly in the daylight but we felt it was too difficult in the dark There's a slightly annoying lip around the rather cold pool that we all separately tripped over! Overall a great stay in a beautiful villa and we'd highly recommend for a big group.

Getaway in the Hills

We had a lovely time cooking, hanging out and playing on the keyboard with our friends at Villa Begur. The house is well equipped with everything we needed and the cherry on top was the pizza oven. The roof deck was truly a luxury and the views and atmosphere was perfect.

Heerlijk huis!

Erg fijn gehad, ruime kamers en badkamers. Genoeg ruimte en privacy voor ons met vier stellen en vier kinderen. Goede locatie, om zowel naar stadje als naar strand te lopen. Is wel een klim maar mooie route

Schönes hochwertiges Haus

Wir waren Ende Oktober eine Woche mit 8 Personen im Haus. Die Küchenausstattung ist reichhaltig, alles funktionierte. Wir konnten die Garage für die Unterbringung von den Motorrädern und Mountainbikes verwenden, alles macht einen sicheren Eindruck. Die Übergabe läuft Kontaktlos ab, Kommunikation und Rückfragen nur über Mail. Jahreszeitbedingt war es schon etwas kühler und feuchter, die Sonne erreicht in der letzten Oktoberwoche das Haus bzw. das kleine Tal nur noch eingeschränkt. Ich empfehle den Besuch bis max Mitte Oktober wenn wärme gewünscht wird. Man kann gut zu Fuss in ein paar Minuten in den Ort laufen, allerdings 300 m auf Hauptstraße ohne Gehweg. Wir haben volle Punktzahl vergeben.

We have been renting our home out since 2003 and have been on Owners Direct all that time. Why they chose this property

Begur is a short walk from Villa Sa Riera. Begur has cobbled streets, with a large central square surrounded by pavement cafes. There is a great mixture of fine restaurants, tapas bars, and even a fantastic open air pizza restaurant. There are also plenty of late night bars which cater mostly to the style conscious Barcelonians, no English pubs or rave clubs in this town.

What makes this property unique

The Villa is fantastic for one large or two families to share a holiday without getting under each other's feet. There is loads of space, plenty of different seating and dining areas, and beautiful views almost any way you look. The fixtures and fittings are all of great quality and we have aimed to provide people (and ourselves) with luxury and comfort.

The other great thing about Villa Begur is that you can walk into town and experience the many fantastic restaurants without having to drive home after a few glasses of wine!

We have installed a 32A Commando socket for electric cars to charge which is available for guests to use.

The lovely Villa Sa Riera is right next door.
