Jim, the property owner, was exceptionally communicative throughout our booking process. Unfortunately Hurricane Lala kept us from actually staying at the property, but Jim kept us updated on road and site conditions before and after our stay. He also fully refunded our fees once it was determined we couldn’t get there safely. Next time we are in Hawaii we’ll certainly book this again…. Looks delightful and is well hosted!

Even tho Norm wasn't able to stay due to the hurricane, he was very understanding and cooperative in the matter. He was very pleasant to deal with and so I gave him a 5 star review just for his demeanor and the way he handled the disappointing news. It's my hope that someday he may be able to visit my place.

Such a lovely stay. The location is very close to Volcano National Park. The accommodations are basic but clean and welcoming. We would stay here again.

Great large studio in Volcano. Nice kitchenette, comfortable bed, surrounded by windows to the forest. Host has an amazing property with nature paths you must explore. 5 minute drive to some food options in town and 10 minute to Volcano park. Would recommend.

Lovely location. Close to modern conveniences but distanced away from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding rain forest made the visit exceptionally tranquil.

This was a beautiful experience. The room and amenities were perfect. The garden was magnificent. The word garden does not adequately describe this beautiful, extensive, floral, exotic experience. Being this close to the National Volcano Park was such a bonus.
