Beautiful homely Villa with Pool, air con and Wi-Fi on Mar Menor Golf Resort.

A beautifully designed, 3 bedroom villa with own swimming pool on the Mar Menor Golf Resort. The resort hotel has pool and spa facilities, price on request at hotel. This is great if you want to pamper yourself. The golf course is excellent and you are in close proximity to many other 1st class golf courses such as Las Ramblas, La Finca, La Manga, Campamor and many others. The area has lots of places of interest, golf or sightseeing, it will be impossible for you to get bored. There are lots of local bars and restaurants all just a few minutes away by car, on site there is a SPAR supermarket, several bars, really nice restaurants. There are lots more bars and restaurants on the boulevard just outside entrance to resort, only a five minute walk from the villa. The beautiful beach of Los Alcazares is just a 5 minute drive away and the wonderful city of Murcia with its new water park just 15 minutes. The airport at Corvera is approximately 20 minutes i drive and Alicante is approximately 55minutes.

The pricing includes full air conditioning, ceiling fans, central heating and Uk tv. There is a 100€ cleaning and laundry fee which is payable to our villa manager on arrival.

Villa is lovely need to update online photos to include lovely refurbished garden couple of small things couldn't work out how to have ceiling fan on without the light minor issue just used aircon instead bath towels could do with an upgrade info book needs updating maybe be include recommendations for bars restaurants beaches and things to doWe all had a relaxing holiday playing golf eating and drinking it’s a shame the hotel have closed so many of their restaurants but there are more places on the boulevard we would certainly come back

Lovely villa in a beautiful gated golf resort. Both the villa and resort are immaculately maintained. Had a couple of very minor issues during our stay and they were addressed immediately to our complete satisfaction. The owner clearly takes great pride in her villa and the way she treats those who stay there. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable week.

Check in absolutely fine. Good communications. The outside of the villa had been renovated to a very good standard. The villa was very clean but dated in places:- will be fantastic if upgraded to standard of pool/outside area. Pool lovely . Air con and fans great. Sitting room lovely except for the throws over the seating. Kitchen needs complete updating including set of mugs and glasses. Beds were found to be very uncomfortable. Had a great time.

Beautiful Resort

Mar Menor Resort is a very pretty, beautiful and well manicured resort. It’s within walking distance of a lot of bars and restaurants and a 10 min drive of Los Alcazares where there is the beach and lots more bars and restaurants. Near the 525 hotel there is a full street lined with lovely bars and every kind of restaurant you could wish for. Leaza was the contact we had for the property and she was great..we needed to call her one day about a problem and she arrived at our door writhing 5 mins. She is very helpful and available if you need her. Colette the owner came straight back to us aswell regarding a query we had. The villa is is a fab location, has a lovely outside pool which is the perfect size and plenty outside furniture. The only thing missing was a parasol outside as over 30 degrees every day and no shade available so needed to eat at inside table which was a shame. I would have no problem returning to this villa or this resort in the future.

Great Villa

This is a lovely villa sitting in the Mar Menor Golf resort, the resort is very pretty & clean. The Villa itself was very clean with a great pool, and we thought it was great value for money. There was also a communal pool, although we didn't use this. Although we were staying on a golf resort we don't play but it looked very nice. We had a hire car which was invaluable although you could walk to just outside the resort gates and eat in a couple of the restaurants there, we drove to Los Alcázares most nights, which is only about 10 mins away, maybe less, but there are plenty of bars & restaurants there and we would highly recommend El Patio II. We also hired Jet Skis at a very reasonable price in Los Alcazares. We also drove to La Manga (around 25mins) and ate there a couple of nights as we had been to a couple of great restaurants there and wanted to go back. So overall a fantastic holiday and we would like to thank Colette for great customer service. Jo & family

Excellent holiday location

Lovely villa and pool, both well maintained. We have been to this resort before and like the attractive, secure environment, but it was good to have the added reassurance of an alarm and a safe. (Previous bad experience of a villa in USA). Made use of the restaurants on the boulevard which is a short walk away– particularly recommend Route 66 and Bombay Dreams. Lovely beaches only a short drive away, along with several markets and Adventure Golf (good for both young and old). Sightseeing at Cartagena and Lorca provided good excursions also. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa and would book again when returning to this area of Spain.

Fantastic Casa Suenos

We had a wonderful family holiday at this superb villa which is situated in a fabulous position on the Mar Menor Golf Resort. The resort itself was spotlessly clean with brilliant security with an upmarket/exclusive feel to it. It is in a great location being close to the local resort of Los Alcazeres with it's lovely holiday atmosphere and providing a wide choice of restaurants, bars - too many to chose from! We also spent a day at the beach at Los Alcazeres too. The beach was very clean and the salt water lagoon was lovely and warm and great for children as you could walk out some distance before the water became deep. There was a "Total Wipeout" style inflatable in the sea which our daughter thoroughly enjoyed. Lots going on and a friendly family environment. Our family also enjoyed a fun day out at the Waterpark at Torrevieja with a good selection of rides to suit all the family, from the splash zone/slides for the youngsters and the more exciting rides for the older members of the family to the more sedate jacuzzi pools and lazy river. Cartegena is close by also for shopping and wonderful marina where you can even spot the cruise liners coming in to dock. We also visited San Javier which also boasts a lovely beach, bars, restaurants and an enviable view towards the La Manga. The villa itself far exceeded our expectations! The position of the property was great as it was not overlooked and had a good degree of privacy where we could enjoy the pool and the garden area. The pool was very well maintained and great to cool off in at the end of the day! The property provided a very clean and comfortable home from home and was very well equiped from wifi to washing machine!! Air conditioning in the bedrooms was a real plus for us and made for a good nights sleep for us all. The communication from enquiry to booking right through to return of deposit made things very straightforward with lots of very useful information including maps from the airports, etc. provided by the owners who were very helpful and friendly. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a holiday at Casa Suenos and would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the owners for providing a fab base for our family holiday! Oh, and just around the corner from the villa (about 10 mins walk) there is a cluster of friendly bars....we particularly enjoyed the Shamrock Bar - especially their pinacolada's!

A lovely Family holiday

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at Casa Suenos Mar Menor Golf resort. Nice and close to Murcia airport so only about 10 to 15 mins and a lovely small airport. A car is essential for this holiday. The resort is beautifully kept and Casa Suenos is a lovely villa. Very clean and we had everything we needed at the villa. We enjoyed visiting some of the beautiful areas in the region. We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The only criticism I have is the outdoor furniture at the villa was a little run down and could do with upgrading.But, despite ths the outside area is pleasant and the pool is a good size. It would have been helpful to have had a pool cleaning net, as the outside area is grass and despite washing feet down in the shower before entering the pool we found lots of grass got in the pool especially after the grass was cut. However, the pool is cleaned twice a week. The owner is a very helpful lady and we had excellent communication throughout the whole holiday booking. A very enjoyable 2 week stay. Thank you .

Good quality villa at mar menor,

Just back from ten day stay. We are used to Spanish villa holidays but not to a resort set up or this area. Mar menor was a good quality development with impressive security at entrance and all the roads and gardens are immaculate. It has a good on site supermarket, the hotel and clubhouse were good spots for dinner by pool and the teens enjoyed tennis/paddle courts. The resort is a short distance from beaches and a car is needed to explore the area. However you can stay on the resort which is very well kept and golfers would have several days on site. Cartagena was great day and the mud baths. This villa is truly immaculate . Worth every euro of the cleaning price and the appliances and towels are good quality and generous. We loved the pool and the first floor sun terrace was perfect for morning coffee. Owner very helpful prior to booking as I have mobility issues and needed to check certain access arrangements. Note to others there is a step down from the terrace area to grass en route to the pool. Not insurmountable and about height of a domestic stair. Otherwise the downstairs shower and wide stairs made this a good choice for me. We liked the personal touches of books and games although several of games are missing pieces now! Still many good evenings playing cards on the terrace. We would book again. Villa was competitively priced and our deposit returned quickly and courteously without prompting.

The villa was very well equipped and comfortable and having it's own pool was fantastic the children loved it!! Ideally located in a nice position on the resort the whole family enjoyed our holiday and we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa too our family and friends. I would recommend the hire of a car for sightseeing because the area has so much to offer. Our favorite day out was Cartagena and the catamaran trip was great. Another favorite with the children was the water park in Murcia and only 20 minutes from the resort. Colette was very helpful and was ready to answer every question asked of her. She provided me with lots of information for the area and the website and Facebook page has lots of links for all interests. John the villa manager was a diamond. A real mine of information on things to do and if you fancy a night out without the car he will get you to where you want to go and get you back again. The Platt family vote this holiday in it's top 5 holidays and we will come again.

We bought our villa on the Mar Menor Golf Resort because we fell in love with the area and have made it our home from home for our family and friends.

I feel sure that anyone who stays on the resort will love it also. The resort has begun to mature and looks beautiful. The area has so much to offer and caters for all tastes.


What makes this property unique

The villa is located in a nice cul-de-sac on the resort but is only a short walk to the bars and restaurants on El Boulevard and about a ten minute walk to the resort centre.

The villa has all you would need to make your stay perfect. Having a good sized rear garden you can sun bathe all day, have a BBQ and cool off in the swimming pool. If you wish for a bit of time on your own you can lock yourself away on the upstairs sun terrace.

Hire a car and you are within easy reach of the beaches and attractions the Mar Menor has to offer. I have set up a facebook page with links that may be of interest to guests staying at our home.
