Pleasant, comfortable apartment. Unfortunately, it was 90 degrees F and the air conditioner in the bedroom went out and didn't get fixed until after we left. Otherwise the place was great.

Thank you for choosing our apartment and for leaving us your feedback. We're truly glad you found the place pleasant and comfortable overall. We want to sincerely apologize for the huge inconvenience caused by the air conditioner failure in the bedroom, especially with temperatures reaching 90^\circ F! We completely understand how this must have impacted your stay. We wanted to clarify that the issue wasn't a simple gas refill as is sometimes the case. Instead, we had to proceed with the complete replacement of the entire air conditioning unit because there was a more serious, unfixable technical fault. Ordering the new unit and scheduling the technician took longer than anticipated, which is why we, unfortunately, couldn't restore service before your departure. We are truly sorry that we weren't able to resolve the problem in time. We hope that despite this setback, you'll give us another chance in the future to show you the full quality of our service. Best regards,

The apartment is spacious and about 20 minutes by tramway to the Vittorio Emmanuel area. It was clean and has everything needed for a short stay. There were several small trattorias nearby as well as cafes. The apartment is beautiful but need a bit of refreshing. Use public transportation because walking to the historical area takes 1 hr plus.

A fabulous green oasis above the roofs of Rome

We had an amazing time. The 'flower' penthouse apartment above the rooftops of Rome is indeed a green oasis and a place of tranquility in the midst of a bustling and vibrant city. Cinzia is a most generous host - she had offered to pick us up from the Rome airport. But since we arrived with our own rental car she gave us her parking spot. We would love to stay here again when we return to Rome again. Hans + Catrina

Lovely garden apartment

I have stayed here previously and enjoyed the garden terrace and location close to public transit. The apartment was spotless and lovely as it was previously. We had some hiccups this time with check-in but the owner tried hard to ameliorate the issues. She also responded quickly when issues arose. The primary reason I always give this four stars is the four flights of stairs to reach it, which the owner is very clear about in her description of the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous apartment

The apartment is beautifully decorated with antiques and vintage furnishings. We especially enjoyed the terrace where we could relax with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. It was away from the city center which we appreciated and found an outstanding local restaurant that we returned to twice. There is now an elevator which is great for being on the 4th floor. Unfortunately the tram was not operating while we were there due to construction on the rails but we fared ok with taxis. Cinzia was a wonderful host, checking in with us regularly and answering all our questions before and during our trip.

Nice owner

Nice appartment. Well designed with a really "Italian touch". Since, we were in Roma during the end of december and the wheather was cold, it was not possible to plently appreciated the terrace, which should be very nice during the spring and summer ! The location is not in the touristic center of Roma but easily accessible by Tram 8. INdeed, this location permits to approach the true Roma life in a popular district. Very nice contacts with the owner and Its representative, Renata. This appartment must be highly recommended. Alain and Corinne, Paris, France, 27/12/2015-03/01/2016

Dear Guests thanks a lot for your review. we are happy you have a nice and of the year in Rome . Unfortunatly also if is suggestive period with Christmas decoration especially in Vatican square is the coldest period in İtaly. You are right our must is the evergreen terrace how permit to enjoy dinner and breakfast outdoor how is unusual in big city. I hope, however, that despite the cold you could uncork a bottle of French bubbly champagne (or prosecco Italiano) off the balcony listening to the typical '' barrels' or fireworks but especially give the promising midnight kiss under the stars.I hope, however, that despite the cold you could uncork a bottle of French bubbly champagne (or prosecco Italian) off the balcony listening to the typical '' barrels' or fireworks but especially give the promising midnight kiss under the stars. Also even if you were not right in your own home the cozy atmosphere of Flower Penthouse with great chandelier in the center of the salon will have warmed the hearts in the most magical time of year. we wait then again in the spring summer or fall to enjoy the mild climate of Rome and regenerate outdoors in the terrace after a hard touristic days. Great weekend getaway

My family ended our Italian vacation with a weekend in Rome. This place was very nice and away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood. There was a few nice spots to eat in the neighborhood, including a place that the host, Cinzia, helped reserve for us. We had a rental car, which was a little stressful to try to find parking. We probably would have opted to get a reservation at a garage if we did it again. The terrace at the place is very lovely, although we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because it was quite buggy out there even with mosquito spray. It was all worth it though, as the place was very unique and our host was very lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. She was very responsive to our questions as well.

Cosy Apartment

This is 'The Place', if you love to mix with the locals(Italian) and their culture. The apartment is cosy & nice with good security. Cinza & Renata are very friendly and helpful. Fresh market, supermarket, shops, cafes are nearby within walking distance(less than 150m). Tram & bus stops are round the corner (within 50m). Tobacco store (Tabacchi) with a big 'T' is nearby for purchasing tram/bus tickets (single trip/ 1 or 3 day pass etc). Tram 8 - To Largo Argentina (City Centre) is about 15-20 mins ride. Bus H - To City Centre / Roma Termini Station (25-40 mins) depending on the traffic. Last but not least, you have to be a little fit to climb up 86 steps to the unit as there is no elevator. In fact, it was a good exercise and quite cool walking up/down as the staircase area is made of marble. The tough part is the check in/out with your luggages. Cheers & have FUN *;*

An Exceptional Flower Penthouse

A beautiful cozy apartment in a quite and safe neighborhood . Property entrance was lovely and had the convenience of an elevator to carry luggage to the 4th floor. I had read previously the door was a little difficult to open which is accurate but after a couple of attempts I got the hang of it. Upon entry into the apartment we were delighted to find it was more beautiful than the pictures portray! You can tell the furniture pieces were selected with love and the curtains add the perfect morning and evening glow. Kitchen contained everything needed for cooking and all the windows brought the outside indoors. We only used the master bedroom which was comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed the sitting area and wardrobe to lay out all our belongings. The desk was convenient to take care of some business and journaling. An adapter was also provided for use. A previous post stated the bathroom needed to be updated but it was perfectly suitable for all needs and the tub was enjoyable for a cool bubble bath after a long day of sightseeing. Cinzia was easy to contact and responded to all questions. She was extremely gracious in giving us extra time for a late check out. She was kind and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Property is conveniently located to the bus line, grocery store, restaurants, gelato, and market. A short ride to Trastevere neighborhood. No regrets about this property.

Beautiful Space But Undisclosed Information

My friends and I really wanted to love this apartment. The space is beautiful and beautifully decorated. But, there were too many aspects of the stay that came as a surprise for us to full enjoy it. The host sent a message the day before we were supposed to check in jam packed with information. This was very overwhelming since my group was already traveling. On top of that, we felt that most if not all of the information in the message should've been advertised in the listing. For example, there is only AC in the living room, kitchen, and room with the king sized bed. There is no AC unit in the room with the twin sized beds, nor a door for that matter. Also, when we asked the host about using the pull out bed in the living room, she said that was "only for emergencies" and reinstated that the stay is only for 4. We answered, yes the stay is for 4, but we booked it because we all wanted a bed to ourselves. I still don't understand why she would advertise a bed to be used then discourage us from using it. There's also certain appliances that can't be used simultaneously due to electricity caps. This made it hard to fully enjoy all of the listed accommodations, because if we wanted to use the oven, we couldn't use the AC, and we stayed in Rome during a very hot week. There is also a tourist tax, which isn't uncommon, but I just don't understand why it wasn't addressed in the listing. Overall, my friends and I would not have booked this stay if we'd known all of this beforehand.

Dear Guest, I am very sorry that I was unable to communicate in time to resolve the reasons for resentment. In fact, all the information is in the traveler welcome booklet that VRBO automatically sends 3 days before your arrival with all the necessary information. However, one day before your arrival, I personally sent myself all the information because you said you had not received it. Thank you anyway for appreciating the apartment and the furnishings. The second room is generally for children with a sliding door that perhaps you did not notice. The sofa bed in the living room being an extra, we generally do not suggest opening it as a double bed so as not to block the passage but I am sorry if we did not understand each other and certainly it could have been used for a single person. In the bedroom plus the bedroom there are already 4 beds but nothing prevented you from also using the one in the living room even without opening it. Being an electrical system for domestic use, you risk having downtime if you use everything in overload. I understand the great heat in Rome in the middle of August, but it could have been organized to alternate the air conditioners while using the oven. the tourist tax is mandatory in all cities in Italy and in the announcement it is made clear that it must be paid directly to the property. I hope that you will have the opportunity to reread the information on the site so as to reassure your guests. We will take care of making it even more evident.
