Adorable West End Cottage, Direct Water Views, Walk To Beach-10% OFF 6/22 & 7/8
This updated West End cottage has beautiful harbor views. There are multiple living areas inside and out. The property is air-conditioned, newly furnished and located about 50 yards from the public pier - a great spot to launch kayaks or a small boat. This quaint cottage provides modern amenities, new furnishings, and the perfect setting to enjoy a summer vacation. You can also view my nearby alternative vacation rental at Vrbo # 813594.
Layout: From a large yard with water views is the front porch which is complete with outdoor furniture and a grill.
Renovated in 2020, you enter into a cozy kitchen and living room area with new appliances including a dishwasher, washer-dryer, and a flat-screen TV. The master bedroom has a cathedral ceiling, adjojns the 1/2 bath, has its own air conditioning zone, and a queen bed. The second bedroom has a built-in Queen bed and its own AC as well. Accessed from the living room area are another small bedroom with a single lofted bed and seating below, a shared full bath with a cast iron tub and the back deck has an outdoor shower. In the kitchen, there is bar seating for three. In addition to the shared full bath, there is also a half bathroom accessed from the kitchen with private access from the master.
Located at the opposite end of a large lot is another rental home. The cottage may be rented separately, or when the houses are rented together, it serves as the perfect space for extra guests. This is a NON-Smoking House and Pets are not permitted.

Why they chose this property
We have owned property on the Island since 2004 but it took us 9 years to find the perfect spot and that spot is 8 F Street in Madaket.
Madaket is known for its legendary sunsets and great beaches. Millie's restaurant only a third of a mile away is known for the sunsets which can be viewed directly from your home. Madaket is quiet and private, there is great bus service at the end of the block next to the bike path that runs to the rotary. The streets are great for youngsters to learn to ride a bike on the quite untraveled roads.
It is our favorite place on the Island because you have quiet, proximity to the beach, the harbor and Millies bar and market and you can still take advantage of all Nantucket town has to offer only a short shuttle or car ride away.
