TWO BED APARTMENT IN ARCS 1800 - SKI IN / SKI OUT SLEEPS UP TO SEVEN

Our recently refurbished privately owned two bedroom apartment (in L'Archeboc) in the quiet village of Charmetogger is set over two floors in a magnificent location in Arcs 1800. Ideally located for winter ski or summer mountain holidays - only 150m from the high capacity Transarc Express lift which takes you to all of the Arcs and La Plagne (via the Vanoise express). Ski on glaciers, explore extensive off-piste, cruise the 425km piste area through tree lined valleys and dramatic high mountains. There is an amazing recently built swimming and gym complex (La Piscine) for the Arcs 1800 resort with indoor / outdoor pool and gym which is a ten minute walk from the apartment. There is a a gorgeous bakery and deli just 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets, bowling alley and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away in Villards. We have refurbished the apartment with new flooring/lino, hob, two fridges and a wall mounted Smart TV with DVD. There is excellent free WIFI. Great selection of games for all the family. We do not however provide bed linen or cleaning at the end as part of the rental. There are two options 1) Guests can bring their own bed linen - sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers, and fully clean the apartment at the end of their stay ready for the next guests. 2) We can arrange for both bed linen and cleaning at the end of stay to be provided. Costs are 30 euros per bed, 10 euros per towel, and cleaning 80 euros.

Good to have 3 beds. Staircase a little narrow and steep though, even for me (I am quite small). We found it more convenient to get the shuttle from Villards. The new ski pass office is great! And we loved the good at Cabane des Neiges (dinner) and the Popote (lunch)

Petit appartement bien conçu. Nous étions 2 adultes, 2 ados et 3 jeunes enfants nous avons eu suffisamment de place. Seul bémol l étroitesse des escaliers pour monter à la partie nuit ainsi que leur raideur. Appartement bien placé à proximité commerces et activités. Le propriétaire est agréable lorsque l on échange avec lui, ainsi que Nadine qui gère les clefs, le ménage, l état des lieux etc.

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement à 5 adultes. C’est l’idéal car pas besoin d’utiliser le canapé lit. Mais possible aussi à 7. Literies très confortables. Espace à manger spacieux. Dommage que l’exposition soit plein nord, le balcon ne voit jamais le soleil en cette saison. Quelques éléments supplémentaires de cuisine seraient appréciables (plat à gratin pour le four, appareil à fondue…) Un logement très agréable dans l’ensemble !

Perfect situation for a lovely apartment

The apartment was situated within 3 minutes walk of the main Transarc lift in Arc1800. We found a route to ski back on the first day, due to excellent conditions this easter. There are two good sized bedrooms on a mezzanine floor, sleeping five persons or even six if one minds sleeping on a mattress on the floor. There is further bedding downstairs on a pull out sofa, but we did not use this. The apartment has the basics required for a weeks ski holiday; dishwasher, cooking facilities and small refrigerator. Couple the great location of this apartment with a fantastic resort (Arc1800) and you have the perfect accommodation. Trevor, the owner is very amenable and approachable. Great communication. We look forward to returning in 2019!

Nous avons passé un bon sejour. L’appartement est bien équipé et nous avons apprécié que la partie couchage soit séparée du reste. Par contre nous n’avons pas eu de Wifi pendant le séjour ce qui a été pénalisant car nous en avions besoin pour raisons professionnelles. Les personnes qui nous ont accueillis ainsi que le propriétaire sont très sympathiques

Prior to their arrival we advised customers that the Wi-fi in the apartment was not working. It has not been possible to get it working and we are deeply sorry to our customers for this situation. We hope to have it fixed soon. Avant leur arrivée, nous avons informé les clients que le Wi-fi dans l'appartement ne fonctionnait pas. This apartment is the pride and joy of our family, but we have letting it out successfully now for 10 years to people all round the world.

I live in England but fell in love with Les Arcs many years ago. I always spend time there myself in the winter and summer.

I pride myself on looking after every guest that uses our apartment and seek to ensure that everyone has a great holiday.

Why they chose this property

Les Arcs has an excellent record for snow and having Aiguille Rouge at such a high point (3227 metres) there is always snow for good skiing from December right through to the end of April. Les Arcs has ski runs for all abilities and makes it a perfect skiing location.
Our apartment is situated in the quiet village of Charmettoger - and is one of the closet apartments in the whole Arc 1800 resort to the Transarc Gondola which opens up all of ski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne (via the Vanoise Express).

Arcs 1800 is very close to the large town of Bourg Saint Maurice which boasts a mainline train station and a mountain train - the Funiculaire - which takes you to Arcs 1600. Courtesy (free) buses will then take you to Arcs 1800 and there is a bus stop right outside of our apartment.
Bourg Saint Maurice town has many supermarkets for stocking up economically - LIDL, Super U and Intermarche and cheap petrol/diesel.

What makes this property unique

Our property uniquely has two double beds and a single bed upstairs floor and has a downstairs sofa bed that sleeps two, so can accommodate up to seven people (but do note it is very cozy with 6/7 people).
The apartment has free WIFI and we have a decent size SMART TV (with DVD player) so you can gain access to Netflix and other TV apps. We have a good selection of DVDs, games, books and jigsaws.
We want anybody who uses our apartment to feel "looked after" and we have engaged a local french key holder who speaks good English who can support you during your stay - especially in the case of any emergencies.
Our apartment is one of the closest in the whole Arcs 1800 resort to the main high speed / high capacity Transarc Gondola which opens up the whole of the Les Arcs ski domain and La Plagne (via the Vanoise Express). Les Arcs has an excellent record for snow and having Aiguille Rouge at such a high point (3227 metres) there is always snow for good skiing from December right through to the end of April. Les Arcs has ski runs for all abilities and makes it a perfect skiing location.
