The villa has a garden and a beautiful terrace with gazebo, barbecue, tables, chairs, deck chairs and games for children. It is located in a quiet area of Castellammare del Golfo. A few tens of meters there are a self-service bar, a well-stocked supermarket and an excellent pizzeria / restaurant that offers guests a 15% discount. In the garden there is a water point to rinse your feet from the return from the beach. No parking problems in front of the house. Nearby, in addition to the marina and wonderful beaches, there are: the enchanting Zingaro Nature Reserve, the small medieval village of Scopello with its wonderful stacks and the ancient Segesta with its suggestive temple and the theater still in operation. Finally, the Pisciotta family who lives on the ground floor (independent entrances - max privacy) will be ready to welcome you with sincere and infinite hospitality to make you spend a peaceful holiday.

La prima volta in Sicilia. Un viaggio un po' lungo per chi arriva dal profondo Nord. Aspettative: tante, praticamente tutte appagate. Per godersi una vacanza è importante avere un buon punto di appoggio: una casa spaziosa, pulita e accogliente, con un'ottima ubicazione strategica per raggiungere il mare e le altre perle turistiche. Bisogna ricevere qualche parola accogliente, anche se in realtà a volte i proprietari "esagerano" offrendoti piacevolissime chiacchierate. Da Deborah e Ugo non vi mancherà nulla. Vi mancheranno loro, poi quando tornerete a casa. Ma questo lo scoprirete solo soggiornando qui.

Estate 2015

bellissima vacanza a Castellammare del Golfo. L' appartamento si trova vicino al centro e a cinque minuti di macchina dalla spiaggia., corrispondente alla descrizione e pulito. Il signor Ugo e sua moglie sono stati molto gentili e disponibili e pronti a soddisfare le nostre richieste. La località è in una posizione strategica per visitare tutta la parte occidentale della Sicilia.

A good place for relaxing holiday

We spent more than 2 weeks of marvelous holiday in this beautiful place. The apartment was clean and cosy, equipped with everything you need. Pictures on the site is true to life. Our daughter especially liked playground on the roof and we enjoyed spending evenings eating delicious fish fried on the barbecue there. We didn't like the town beach as it's rocky and inconvenient for a little child, we went to the sandy beach that is 2 km away. We didn't rent a car from the beginning, but we had to because it was very difficult to walk twice a day such a long distance with a child. Thanks Ugo, he helped us to find a good car for a reasonable price. When arrived, we asked Ugo thousand of questions and he patiently answered them all. He has a special map where, if you ask, he can show all good places in this town. Without any hesitation I can recommend this place to stay in Castellammare del Golfo.

Summer 2014 - Castellemare del Golfo

Last Summer we spent two full weeks at Ugo's and Deborah's wonderful place in Castellemare del Golfo. The villa was conveniently close to everything one needs while on vacation: beach, restaurants, lovely village and shops. The apartment was good: two large bedrooms with excellent beds, 1 bathroom and a very basic livingroom/kitchen. What was great though, was the roof terrace. We spent most mornings and evenings on the terrace, drinking coffee, playing cards with the kids (17 / 15 / 13 years old), having a BBQ or drinking wine. Although there were other appartments in the villa, the house was conveniently quiet and we felt undisturbed. if needed, Ugo and Deborah were there for help, guidance and basic questions. All together a place we would certainly recommend! Andre and Ellen

"L''appartamento corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione, è molto confortevole, completo di forno, microonde, frigorifero, la cucina è completa di tutto. C''è una grande terrazza con sdraio, sedie, tavoli, barbecue. La posizione dell''alloggio è strategica sia per visitare i luoghi naturalistici ed archeologici della splendida Sicilia occidentale ( da non perdere riserva dello zingaro, Scopello, Erice, Trapani, Segesta, Selinunte, le saline, Favignana, San Vito, Marsala...) che per accedere alle spiagge, necessaria è l''automobile, nessuna difficoltà di parcheggio vicino all''abitazione. A pochi passi si trovano negozi, bar,ristoranti. Castellammare è un paese molto carino ed ottimo punto di partenza. I proprietari sono eccezionali, disponibilissimi consigliamo a tutti l''appartamento, noi torneremo sicuramente."

"La nostra prima vacanza in Sicilia è stata splendida e aver scelto Castellammare del Golfo come punto di appoggio è stato sicuramente strategico, avendo noi girato parecchio. Si affaccia su di un mare pulitissimo ed è vicina a splendidi borghi e rovine. I proprietari sono stati estremamente cortesi e sempre disponibili per informazioni di ogni genere. L''appartamento è molto spazioso e in ottime condizioni, pulito e dotato di ogni confort, soprattutto dell''aria condizionata che dopo una giornata sotto il sole, era assolutamente indispensabile. La casa è comunque ben ventilata e non si è mai sofferto il caldo. Lo consiglierei sicuramente ad un amico. Grazie ancora di tutto. Alla prossima."

"El apartamento estaba bien,en una zona tranquila (excepto el campanario cercano que comenzaba temprano por la mañana). Equipación suficiente para las 6 personas que estuvimos.El propietario muy atento y detallista. Muy buena localización para recorrer la zona en coche alquilado. Aparcamiento en la misma puerta, supermercado, frutería y restaurantes accesibles a pie.La relación calidad precio, muy buena, aunque recomendaríamos que cambiasen el sofá del salón, es realmente difícil sentarse en él. Por lo demás, perfectas vacaciones. Gracias."

"we are a family of two persons from Russia, St.Petersburg stayed at Villa Gelvi from 04.06 to 20.06.2009 At was a beautiful time at a very nice place with a very hospital owners Ugo and Deborah! The Villa appeared better then we forecasted and we lived at Scopello apartment. The apartment is well equipped and furnished. Hints: - you have to use a barbecue at the big terrace, grilled fresh meat (from Sisa shop nearby), fresh fish, prawns! calmars! WOW. - you can buy a fresh seafood at the city harbor and at several of pesheria shops (sea food shops) only in the mornings. - you can buy seafood, vegetables and etc at a market place in the morning with a very reasonable price on Saturdays only just about 50 meters from a Villa. (down to the sea by Viale Leonardo da Vinci) - there are a lot of beaches nearby, sandy, rocky and etc. we are strongly recommend a small beach close to Villa which situated near by the hotel you can find this beach picture on the top of the hotels web-site here http://www.puntanordest.com/uk/position.htm ask Ugo how to get there as the hotel has a private access to the beach but there is a path for non hotel guests. - definitely you have to rent a boat!!! you don’t need a license if you drive a boat with 40 horse power 4-stroke motor. You can find a several rental companies at harbor. Be aware that at weekdays the rental price for the whole day can cost only 50 euro (for a whole day! 09am -07 pm). You have to negotiate if you hear a higher price! The fuel cost is always on top. The price I’ve been told is in force in June (I think) Renting price may be up to twice higher at Sat and Sun! You can reach by boat a lot of marvelous places, small beaches which accessible only by boat, Zingaro Reserve and even San Vito lo Capo. - definitely you would need to rent a car if you want to travel around, but we have spent the first week without a car and didn’t have a problems with getting around by foot. I would like to post a links to some images and etc. later. (if this site support the external links) Many thanks to Ugo and Deborah for unforgettable holidays in Sicily, hospitality, help and advices provided. We are HIGHLY recommend to stay here."
