Perfect location and gite for a very relaxing holiday! Garden is joyful! Easy drive to all locations within 20-30 mins! Lovely village location within walking distance. Where we found a great boulangerie, grocery, shop, Italian restaurant. Wonderful views of River with a restaurant on the quay. Kate, the perfect amazing host.

Kate is a phenomenal host. She truly thinks of everything, she greeted us heartily and showed us around, and she saved the day when my fiancé needed his suit steamed for the family wedding we attended at the last second when our steamer didn’t work. She saved the day again and again with a moments notice, and made us enjoy our trip more than she knows. She is thoughtful and communicative, and the property is perfect! You couldn’t ask for a cuter and better place to stay. Very comfortable and roomy accommodations. There were top tier local recommendations onsite, and we enjoyed the proximity to the town and La Rance. Don’t choose anywhere else to stay for your plans, this location is central, and feels true to the character and history of this coastal destination.

Pleasant week at Pleudihen sur Rance

A nicely designed and comfortable barn conversion with good facilities and equipment. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for four. Pleasant outside seating area in an attractive setting. The shower needs some attention to repair the height adjustment and care is needed on the very steep stairs. Internet connection can be slow. Good directions to the gite but some information about recycling, local restaurants etc would have been nice. (The lack may be because our host was unable to be there when we were).

Bretonische Oase

Die Gite von Kate und Mark sind liebevoll hergerichtete Oasen der Ruhe und Entspannung. Unweit von Cancale und St. Malo haben wir hier zwei idyllische Wochen verlebt. Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Sehr schöne Haushälfte in ruhiger Lage

a perfect gem!

We LOVED our 10 day stay in this cottage. We found this absolutely charming cottage to be comfortably and tastefully furnished. Set in a gorgeous, private, expansive garden filled with flowers, trees, and the sounds of birds, it was both a wonderful place in which to wake up and a wonderful place to return each day. We found the location perfect for easy day trips to Dinan, San Malo, villages and sites both along the coast and along the Rance river. We loved being able to walk down to the port for dinner and/or sunsets and also being so close to the village (great boulangerie/patisserie!) Kate was a warm, engaging and helpful host. We cannot imagine being happier any where else and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this magical spot.

Lovely cottage in a pretty town, well positioned to visit Dinan and Dinard.

The owners, who live on site, were welcoming and helpful. Kate, gave us useful information about things we might be interested in. The local harbour, which is very pretty and peaceful, has a resident seal. We had a lovely time, cycling, kayaking and sightseeing.

Just perfect!

Kate is a wonderful host. Very comfortable gite with all the amenities you need. The garden is beautiful which was full of birds and we saw a red squirrel darting across the lawn right in front of us. We also loved the pet goat. The area is perfect for visiting different towns in the region and is good for walking too. Easy walk into the little village Pleudihen-sur-Rance and to the beach where there is a resident seal. Wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended!
