Beautiful place as described. Loved that it was dog friendly, right on the lake - the deck is even over the lake, close to a few winerys - wish we could go back when warmer since even had kayaks and a boat lift if you have a boat/jetski.

Our stay was perfect. The property is as described in the listing and very clean with great amenities. The location was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The views and sunsets from the overwater deck can't be beat. We stayed with our dog and the house was set up great for him as well. Overall a very relaxing stay. The property owner was very responsive when we contacted with some questions. It's a short drive to some great wineries, breweries and Ithaca. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. The place was very clean and just as described. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and there were a lot of thoughtful extras around the house as well like a portable speaker, charging station with different cords, solar lanterns for the deck, etc. The host was responsive. I definitely recommend this place.

Great stay! We loved the quiet location and being right in the lake. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a hike at a nearby state park, visiting a nearby winery, and just enjoying relaxing time at the cottage. Would definitely recommend! We also appreciate the clear and easy communication with the owners.

Another amazing week at Pura Vida Cottage! The cottage is exactly as pictured in the listing. It is very clean, well appointed and has a fully stocked kitchen. The outside is amazing with a deck over the water and a dock below. The fishing is great! We also love using the kayaks and canoe. You won’t find a better place to relax and make memories on the water! Thank you Don and Michelle!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gem of a house! The lake views are breathtaking and the outdoor furniture makes you want to be outside constantly. Our kids loved jumping off the dock, fishing, and using the kayaks. The views from inside the house are beautiful too, so even on bad weather days you still feel like you’ve got a great view! We cooked many meals on the outdoor grill, and also enjoyed the local wineries. The house was clean and very comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive. We’ve stayed at many vacation homes and this is by far one of our favorites!

Pura Vida is an incredible home right on the Catuga Lake. The cottage is well stocked. The dock and porch were excellent for views of the lake. Don and Michele were great hosts and very communicative. The two night stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

We rented this house for our family during Cornell graduation weekend. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the gas fireplace in the living room made the house cozy on cool nights. The view is amazing and the large deck provided hours of enjoyment for fishing, eating meals and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. It was just what we needed to decompress in between all of the graduation events. Don was a very responsive host and was great to work with. We would most definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing week at this beautiful lake house. Our family and pups loved having access to the lake, kayaks, and paddleboards. We watched beautiful sunsets and enjoyed some local hikes. There are so many activities to enjoy in the area!
