A comfortable, nicely decorated house on a quiet street within the medieval town walls of Conwy. It is a couple of minutes walk to river front, and to the town centre with shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, fish and chips and of course the medieval castle and houses. There are views of the Conwy waterfront and town walls from the house. Two double bedrooms, cosy lounge with log burning stove, well equipped kitchen (oven and stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave) and separate dining room provide space to relax in. There is a downstairs WC, and bathroom with bath and shower upstairs. Outside is a courtyard with table and chairs to sit outside. There is no parking directly outside the house, but bags, guests and pets can be dropped off before parking. You may find parking on the street, but this is limited especially in summer months; Conwy County Council provide several carparks in the town that are a couple of minutes walk from Isallt (locations are on their website). Prices are very reasonable and payment via the PayByPhone app is highly recommended.

Such a lovely stay, a real home from home and a great location, we used the long stay car park near the castle and enjoyed the short walk back in the evenings
My go to in Conwy, reasonably priced and excellent location
Super clean property with total ease of use
No parking but public parking 24/7 2 minute walk
Lovely and spacious with everything you need.
Location is brilliant to see Conwy and everything within walking distance or to go slightly further to Llandudno and snowdonia.
I would definitely recommend staying here and would return.
This rental is ideal. We felt very much at home here and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring Conwy. I hope to return!
The highlight of our stays, Isallt, was our home away from home. Clean, plenty of supplies - bedding, pillows, toilet paper, and the nice touch of milk, coffee and cookies upon our arrival. A fully stocked kitchen of China, cutlery, pots, etc. staying here may it easy to visit Conwy knowing we had a “home” come to at the end of the day where we can put our feet up, with a great warm shower or bath and privacy we are accustomed to when living at home. Highly recommend this home within the city walls.
We found this place just as advertised. Host was very honest and helpful. The location was superb. We loved being able to make our own meals and to be able to walk to grocery stores and the nearby attractions. Town is so cute and the castle was great. We loved waking and being able to walk to the Popty Conwy bakery.
The cottage was a wonderful place to stay! It's located in the centre of Conwy, with only a short walk to the restaurants and castle as well as the nearby hills, if you fancy a truly stunning hike. The house itself is comfortable and beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay here, and is somewhere I would love to return to.
The house waa absolutely adorable, as well as clean and well-equipped and quiet. Just perfect. Jo's communication with me was terrific, tho she and I both suffered from the fact that the Vrbo app had malfunctioned, and we had to work around that.
Nice location, easy walk to the castle, waterfront, village restaurants. Located on a tiny street, parking is easiest at one of three car parks, all a short walk away.
We have used VRBOs for both USA and Europe vacations, and this one was one of our favorites. Very clean, well equipped and easy to make your home away from home. It was easily positioned between a convenient car park and the attractions.

Thank you for your review Catherine, I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday in Conwy.
Me and my mum had a lovely stay at Isallt and would highly recommend to families, couples and friends. A lovely and spacious house that also felt really cosy. The house was really clean and on a lovely quiet street, just two minutes’ walk away from the main parts of Conwy - ideal!
Agree with all the other reviews that the parking is a minor issue - the public parking is only a short walk away and paying via the app (PayByPhone) makes this whole process really simple.
A great overall location to base ourselves for some north Wales exploring for the weekend too!

About the host
Hosted by Joanna Kershaw
Hello, my name is Jo Kershaw.
Why they chose this property
Conwy was the first choice as it has been a family holiday destination for about 50 years. We love the town for its history, character and charm. It has plenty of interesting things to see and do, beautiful shops, highly recommended restaurants and friendly local people. It has good travel links so easy to get to and perfect for using as a base to explore Snowdonia and Anglesey.
What makes this property unique
The property is a 2 storey 19th century house on a quiet one way street inside the castle walls of Conwy. It has been refurbished and redecorate to high standards to make a comfortable "home from home" for holiday makers. Its close to the local amenities, river front, castle and many other places of interest.
