Thank you, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
Lovely small property, very close to town centre. Comfortable beds, great size kitchen for 4 adults to stay. Very nice decor and facilities. Would definitely recommend and stay again
Beautiful mews house in a great location, an easy five minute walk to the centre of town. Very comfortable bed, great heating and lovely kitchen. Our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
Beautiful property in a great location with easy walking distance to town centre. On the whole nice and clean. My only issue was the bedding and towels which smelt damp.
The property was within easy walking distance of the town centre. The car parking was a massive advantage. Issues with the central heating boiler meant a restless last night but overall a good stay.
We were right in the centre of Cirencester and parking right at the property of the road and through a gate. The property was lovely and had everything you needed to enjoy your break. The two bathrooms and downstairs Toilet made it great for the four of us.We would recommend it to anyone going to Cirencester.
Lovely stay at Battel Mews, very well situated right in the middle of town but hidden!
Perfect little bolt hole for exploring Cirencester.
Would definitely visit again
The house was delightful and we had a fantastic time. The only downside was the children’s bedroom. The beds are on a high platform with a steep ladder and there is no protector guards on there. The kids loved it but it made me anxious about them using the ladder in the night or rolling off. More suited to a small group of 4 people.
We love Cirencester, usually visiting in our motor home. As waiting for a new one to arrive, thought we’d try this alternative holiday. A very nice home from home, five minutes level walk to beautiful Cirencester town centre. Well equipped with all the general necessities
This property was in a great location for sight seeing , the only down side was the plumbing was quite noisy.

The property was brilliant comfortable, clean and just walk into town in just minutes
We stayed at Battel mews for 6 days, it was fantastic we could not fault this lovely home. The owner Annette could not have been anymore helpful and accommodating as we needed to stay an extra night she responded quickly to communications and was able to assist in us arriving in Cirencester early. We have stayed in many places whilst road tripping the UK this last month or so and this accomodation tops our list. Thank you Annette for making Cirencester the hi-light of our trip around the UK. Will be back to stay again in the future.

Excellent location but in need of a refurb
The location is excellent for walking anywhere within Cirencester. However the downstairs of the house needs maintenance and updating for the price. Wifi only works sitting in the window and sporadically so dont rely on wifi if you need to work as I did.
Two bedrooms upstairs are nicely furnished and comfortable beds.

A very pleasant place to stay, with a couple of niggles
This was a very comfortable place for two people to stay over Christmas. Many thanks for making it so welcoming, with Christmas lights and a very welcome bottle of fizz for the big day. A couple of niggles: the dishwasher hadn't been cleaned in some time and lacked salt and rinse aid (both essentials given the water is so hard), the microwave is a bit flaky and the hob is missing one button. One more thing, the internet is distinctly feeble and often unusable - anyone planning on streaming should avoid. However, we loved it - a great retreat in a lovely town.

BATTEL MEWS
My family and I stayed in this property for 3 weeks last August. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and the property was located near to town. However, despite having sent two polite reminders for return of our deposit, we have yet to receive it and it is now 6 months since our stay.
Response from VrboOwner on 19 March 2020
There was a mix up about the deposit which has now been resolved. We have sent the guest the money back.

Christmas Break
1 Battel Mews is in an excellent location being in the centre of Cirencester and close to shops and restaurants. It has good car parking just outside the door of the property. We spent the Christmas week there and had a very pleasant time. However there were a few things that needed attending to - the radiators were not working when we arrived and we had to phone the owner who arrived within the hour. She was aware of the problem and informed us that she had put electric heaters in the rooms to use during our stay. The electric kettle in the kitchen worked intermittently and the second bedroom, which our children used, needed some attention - there was only one thin blind over the windows, the mattress on one of the beds was damp and the linen and duvets thin. On the positive side the rest of the accommodation was comfortable and pleasant and the owner had thoughtfully decorated the lounge and kitchen with Christmas decorations and left Christmas crackers and a bowl of satsumas for us which were all very much appreciated. With the above issues attended to I would recommend the property to family and friends as it is an attractive property, in a good location and excellent for touring the Cotswolds area.

We are sorry about the problems that the guests encountered during their Christmas stay. We do take such feedback very seriously and are making improvements right away. We have had an engineer out to fix the heating already and the kettle has been replaced. Thank you for highlighting the damp issue in the second bedroom, it seems that a couple of roof tiles had come loose during the recent storms and that had caused a small leak. Thanks to this feedback we've been able to get that repaired too. The comment about the blinds has also been noted and we’re getting additional blackout blinds ordered to improve the situation for future guests, as it wasn’t a problem we’d been aware of before.
