A delightful villa overlooking Cotobro Bay & Marina Del Este, with its own private pool and garage. Tropical plants surround the five terraces where you can barbecue enjoying the sun or shade beneath the avocado tree. The house is separated into two apartments, ideal for families with teenagers or friends. Stunning views from all the windows and balconies make this property a perfect place to create holiday memories. The surrounding area is bursting with activities & sports for all the family.

The house is divided into two separate apartments. Ideal for families with teenagers or friends staying together with their own families. The main part of the house has two bedrooms, one double and one with large twin beds with an ensuite bathroom. The second bathroom has a bath. There is also a double sofa bed. There is seating for ten people at the dining table, a beautiful living area with TV, dvd and wifi with a long balcony across the whole of the front of the house. There are board games for your use. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven hob etc The downstairs apartment has its own entrance and one large double bedroom. One bathroom. An open living / dining with kitchen area makes the space very easy to live in. The sofa turns into a large double bed too. Huge windows that open out to beautiful views . There are two large barbeques and many sun loungers and five terraces to relax and sunbathe on. The private pool is perfect to swim in. There is private garage for one car. The house is up high so we would recommend that anyone with walking issues may find it difficult.

Guest access

Our guests can use all the house and grounds, pool and garage. Our property manager Sara will meet you to give you keys and make sure you are happy with all the facilities so that your stay is a memorable experience for you.

Interaction with guests

Our property manager Sara will be available by email or phone to answer any queries and come to the house when needed as soon as possible.
We want to make your stay as easy as possible.
Please note that all guests are required by Spanish Law to complete arrival forms with comprehensive personal data accurately from the age of 14 years old. This information will be sent to the Ministry of the Interior and kept for 3 years. The government say that this is to facilitate the security forces for the prevention of criminal activities especially those related to terrorism and organised crime enhancing the safety of everyone.
Guests will be denied access who do not provide the required information.

The neighbourhood

The house sits on the hill overlooking Cotobro bay and is surrounded by stunning planting, beautiful flowers and trees adorn the area. It is truly gorgeous. Cotobro beach is in a secluded bay, with calm protected waters that make it ideal for children. If you are lucky you can watch dolphins swim past at different times of the year.
Almunecar is a wonderful place to base yourself, it offers numerous water sports, hiking, cycling, paragliding. There are many walks close by taking you to breathtaking places. With over 19 kilometres of local coastline you will be at a loss to choose which one of the 25 beaches to choose from. The old town is Medieval in origin with steep winding streets, full of shops bars and lovely places to eat which lead up to the Moorish castle. It is hard to get a drink without a free accompanying tapas. Culturally rich and historically fascinating there are many things to discover .The Costa Tropical is named after its tropical climate so the fruit and vegetables are grown extensively in the area, avocados mangoes and the famous Cherimoyas and papayas are common place.
Granada offers skiing and Motril has a lovely golf course. The drive is an easy one or you can take a bus from the bus station at little expense.
We have tourist information in the house so that you can plan what you might like to do when you stay. There is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Andalusia.

Getting around

We recommend a car which you can put safely in the private garage. There is a bus down the hill to take you into the old town which costs a euro. Taxis are affordable and we can recommend some reliable drivers to you for your stay.
There is also a bus station were you can take day trips to Granada to see the Alhambra palace. Nerja Caves. Sierra Nevada national park and many more places further afield such as Seville Ronda etc.
You can also charter boats to take you around the various bays. Travelling is easy here and not expensive.

Other things to note

We may have to come to the house to clean the pool during your stay and to care for the plants. We will always arrange this with you before we do this as we respect your privacy.


Late check in
Any arrivals after 9pm will be charged an additional €50, payable on arrival. No arrivals accepted after midnight.

We will need to clean the pool and water the plants but will share the day and time before we do this as we respect your privacy.
