This cozy (50 m2) renovated apartment in 2016 is located on the ground floor of a large house with 4 apartments, located upstairs in the authentic mountain village of Valtournenche.
With the wonderful warmth of the Scandinavian wood stove, it is immediately cozy in this contemporary furnished apartment with its own free Wi-Fi.
The living-dining room has a sitting area, dining table and open kitchen with a. An: induction hob, oven, coffee maker and dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms:
- a large bedroom en suite (with sliding door) with 1 double bed or 2 single beds and flat screen TV;
- a bedroom with 1 double bed or 2 single beds.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain shower, sink, bidet and toilet.
There is a private terrace with garden on the southwest with beautiful views over the village and the mountains.

In the building there is a ski loft with ski boot dryer and a washing machine for common use.

Information environment
The ski resort of Valtournenche (3 minutes by car) is connected to the ski resorts of Breuil Cervinia (It) and Zermatt (CH). This snow-sure area of the Matterhorn has 322 km of slopes, with the longest descent in the world (22 km) and the highest ski lifts in Europe up to 3800 m!

In the summer, beautiful walks can be made in the impressive mountain landscape with the Matterhorn. The area is also very suitable for mountain biking and mountain climbing.
Chances are that you will encounter a number of ibex, mountain marmots and / or chamois during your trip! Val d'Aosta is also known for the great diversity of butterflies, including rare species. Moreover, skiing is possible on the glacier of the small Matterhorn!
In the fall you can enjoy the beautiful fall colors.

The Aosta valley is known for its cultural history. There are many impressive castles and a visit to the beautiful Roman city of Aosta, the cultural center of the Aosta Valley, is also a must.
A day trip can also be made to Turin!

Perfect location

Me and my two teenagers I stay at the best apartment. The apartment was as shown on the picture. The host couple was very friendly, gave us information on where to shop, eat etc. I can recommend this palace if you are skiing.

Het appartement is beter dan de mooie foto’s aangeven. Het is er fijn en goed verzorgd. Karin en Tijmen zijn zeer vriendelijk en kunnen veel vertellen over de omgeving. Kortom super!

Vacanza da sogno

Con mia moglie incinta ho trascorso 3 settimane in questo appartamento. Cosa dire? La permanenza è stata fantastica. Posto e vista eccezionale. Appartamento dotato di ogni comfort (doccia spaziosissima, letti comodi, WiFi, cucina ben dotata) e posto macchina che si è rivelato una manna dal cielo. Karin ed il marito sono gentilissimi ed hanno un sacco di attenzioni per i propri ospiti. Voglio tornarci al più presto!

Geschmackvolles Wohnen am Matterhorn

Die EG Wohnung, die wir angemietet hatten, hat ein sehr geschmackvolles Ambiente, stilsicher einerseits, praktisch andererseits. Herrlich die vorgelagerte Terasse, einerseits überdacht und andererseits mit Freisitzmöglichkeit mit Blick auf einen der Hausberge. Hier geht abends die Sonne unter; sehr schön. Es war grundsätzlich alles da, was man brauchte; ein guter Herd (mit Backofen), ein ausreichend großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach etc. Sehr schöne Lösung mit dem per Schiebtür abgetrennten Schlafzimmer 1 und dem kuscheligen Schlafzimmer für zwei weitere Personen mit 2 Einzelbetten (hier schlief unser Sohn und hatte damit sein eigenes kleines Reich). Ein tolles Badezimmer mit wunderschöner Dusche, wo man nach getaner Tagestour entspannen konnte. Alles in allem wirklich toll. Dazu empfingen uns die Gastgeber persönlich, wiesen uns kurz ein und waren auch gerne zu Auskünften bereit. Es empfing uns auch noch eine kalt gestellte Flasche Sekt, was sehr freundlich war und lecker geschmeckt hat. Bei der Lage habe ich 4/5 Sternen gegeben, da man halt etwas oberhalb von Valtournenche wohnt und schon eher mit dem Auto in den Ort fährt (fahren muss), um noch etwas zu besorgen. Am Besten verbindet man das mit seinen Tagestouren. Es ist ansonsten im Tal ruhig und nicht überlaufen und daher etwas ursprünglicher, was wir sehr angenehm empfanden. WLAN war gut und zu unserer Überaschung gab es einen Netflix Zugang für Gäste (tolle Sache!) Rund um zufrieden gewesen.

Heel fijn, compleet, schoon en mooi appartement. Niks ontbrak. De eigenaren zijn heel aardige attente mensen. Ze zijn behulpzaam als je er om vraagt. Er is veel privacy. In hete zomers is het hier 10 graden koeler dan elders. Het dorpje is sympathiek en de pizza's zijn er goed In de omgeving kun je leuke fietstochten of wandelingen maken. Je kunt middels diverse kabelbanen de bergen op. Als je het zou willen zou je vanuit hier zomers ook goed kunnen skieen. ik vind het echt een aanrader. Ik zou geen enkel negatief punt kunnen noemen.

Het was een heerlijke vakantie in een grandioos mooie omgeving! Prachtig wandelgebied. En met dit geweldige appartement steeds weer heerlijk thuiskomen. Absolut top, sympatisch, modern und sehr gemütlich!

Wir waren eine Woche zum Biken in Valtournenche. Die Gastgeber haben uns wahnsinnig herzlich wilkommen geheißen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Es war alles Vorhanden was wir brauchten. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wir hatten die Wohnung im Untergeschoss mit einem sehr schönen privaten Garten, Sonne von 9 Uhr bis 17 Uhr. Zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen braucht man 3 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen. Ein Geheimtip! Danke Karin!

Very comfortable, spacious & well designed

We recently spent a very happy week in this well designed, fully equipped and comfortable apartment. We were warmly welcomed by Karin & Timon, the owners who live upstairs, who were friendly and informative. The apartment is modern and bright and was clean and tidy on our arrival.

Zeer leuk, fris en net appartement.

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in Valtourneche. De eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het appartement is slechts 6 minuten rijden van de skilift. Mooi uitzicht en precies goed voor ons gezin van 4. Echt een aanrader!

Toujours aussi bienfaisant à Valtournenche mais cette fois avec plus de confort

En été, Valtournenche convient particulièrement bien aux familles aimant la randonnée; les sentiers sont bien balisés, nombreux, peu encombrés, et le paysage y est varié (il change tous les 500 m). C'est aussi un lieu favorable à l'alpinisme. La ligne montagneuse venant du Mont Blanc aboutit à la Dent d'Hérens puis bifurque vers le Cervin au Nord. En cas de forte chaleur en Italie, le ciel est bleu au Nord de la Dent d'Hérens; s'il pleut en Suisse, la zone de Cervinia est affectée mais à Valtournenche il fait meilleur et au besoin, vous allez plus au Sud à Chamois, Torgnon, à La Magdeleine ou encore au Parc naturel du Mont Avic. En juillet, comptez en moyenne un jour de repos forcé mais bien mérité par semaine. Si Valtournenche-même est un peu encaissé à côté du Pancherot, il suffit de monter pour que la vallée soit plus large. C'est déjà le cas à Bringaz où est situé l'appartement où nous avons logé 3 semaines. Le propriétaire y propose un confort neuf et moderne: eau chaude illimitée disponible à toute heure, cuisinière à induction hyper-rapide ne laissant pas d'odeur dans l'habitacle grâce aussi à la hotte bien efficace. La TV (normale , satellite, ...) est en outre un véritable terminal pour votre ordinateur avec la connexion DMI ou pour votre appareil photo de manière à visionner en grand vos magnifiques prises de vue de la journée (aussi possible via clé USB). Le soir, un petit coup de chauffage réchauffe l'appartement au besoin à la température désirée. Le petit jardin et la terrasse protégée par le balcon supérieur offrent d'agréables moments, des repas au plein air. Les photos du site rendent fidèlement compte de la configuration du logement. Les propriétaires se font un plaisir de satisfaire le client: l'appartement m'a semblé avoir été adapté intentionnellement selon les informations dont ils disposaient, le contact est respectueux de leurs hôtes et très attentif à l'écoute de leurs besoins. J'oubliais encore une chose: l'isolation sonore entre étages est bonne et la rue est suffisamment éloignée pour qu’on n’en perçoive rien.
