Rural Algarve Villa with Heated Pool, Fibre Optic Internet/Wi-Fi, Underfloor Heating plus Air Conditioning near SILVES, GOLF and BEACHES. This villa is a perfect location for Remote Working during the winter months.
The main villa containing the master bedroom and twin bedroom is priced on an occupancy of up to 4 people. Please enquire If your party only consists of 2 people wishing to use one bedroom in the main villa as I am happy to give a discount. Guests wishing to use Bedroom 3, with the en-suite facilities, are charged £40 per night for the room. To ensure that you are not charged double please book for 5 people and inform us how many guests will be using the room. The camp/chair beds are only suitable for children and are charged at £12 per child per night. Please enquire if your party has additional children using the camp beds so the website prices can be adjusted.
The villa is set within the unspoilt countryside of the Algarve overlooking orange groves and the Monchique mountains. It is away from the crowded tourist areas but all local attractions like water parks and beaches are just a short drive away. Access to the villa on arrival is by a keysafe so there is no person-to-person contact. Fibre Optic Internet/Wi-Fi and UK/EU TV channels provided. It is now possible to have shopping delivered to the villa by the Apolonia and Continente supermarkets. The villa has air-conditioning for the summer months and underfloor heating for the winter months. The rural area is popular with walkers and close to the Algarve Way. For golfers the villa is also close to the Amendoeira and Silves Golf courses. For motor racing and Formula 1 lovers the Autodromo do Algarve is approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the villa. The Monchique mountains are to the north and the beautiful beaches to the south.
The villa has a magnificent 5m x 9m solar heated swimming pool with automatic pool cover and a large sunbathing terrace. This also has a supplementary heat pump to heat the pool during the cooler months, at an additional cost of £25 a night.
The villa is fully compliant with all safety and legal regulations as required by the Portuguese Tourist Board. Alojamento Local (AL) Registration No.163215/AL.
The living accommodation is spacious and comfortable and has plenty of modern conveniences to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. All rooms have underfloor heating, secure lockable windows/patio doors with mosquito screens and shutters.
We have recently finished a small adjoining extension to the villa that can provide a private, lockable space for grandparents or friends from a different family. It comprises of a living room with large TV and Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom and living area have patio doors to the pool terrace. This area is only available when you book the main villa.
The upstairs of the garage has a play room with a seating area and snooker/pool or table tennis table. There is also a full-size outdoor table tennis table and table football. There is free unlimited Fibre Optic Internet access and television including Portuguese, English and Sport channels. It is easily accessible from Faro airport (40 minutes). For your convenience car hire is highly recommended. Poço Barreto is the closest village (2km), with a railway station, a small supermarket and some bars. Just a short drive from the villa is the historic town of Silves dominated by its XII Century Castle, with its Roman Bridge, traditional food market, and good choice of shops, restaurants and bars. Silves is also famous for the Medieval Festival held for 10 days in August. There are two large supermarkets, open 7 days a week till 10pm.
