The house was perfect. Clean, well stocked, beautifully furnished and in a perfect location. The host was lovely and brought home made fresh bread and a lovely lemon drizzle cake. It was all wonderful.
The house was ideal for our family get together. It was a spacious property and the calm was calm and inkeeping with the property; some lovely art work. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for 8 people. The property was ideal for taking a dog as had a good outside space. We appreciated the cake, home-cooked bread and milk on arrive - this was a lovely touch!
The location is ideal for exploring the town - has a gym, playground, swimming pool plus lots of places to eat. The property has a large garden (brilliant with small children and dogs). It’s has access to two parking spaces which is a must in the busy town. Lovely walks from the house. Great communication- thank you for having us.
Beautiful house, central location, secluded sunny garden. Well equipped. Good communication from owner. Only downside is that it's on the main road, which two of the bedrooms face. It very loud, even at night- being earplugs. Also crossing the road in front of house takes some courage- poor visibility and a lot of fast drivers.
Lovely cottage, well equipped and a great location for exploring the Peak District. And friendly and helpful hosts. A lovely week, thanks.

A wonderful property, spacious, clean, convenient. Two bedrooms with 2 twin beds, two bed rooms with Queen beds makes ample room for large familes or friends. A well equipped kitchen. The Nisa and fruit/veg stand nearby have everything one needs. Would recommend for a Peak District getaway.
The back garden was a fantastic asset. Plenty of space for the kids to kick a ball or play badminton.

Thank you for leaving a review and pleased the kids enjoyed the garden. I must confess I was quite taken with your badminton kit and will try and find a set for the cottage.
Hope you had a safe journey home and maybe we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future. All the best pip
Excellent position with walks from the door and an open air swimming pool nearby. The cottage was clean and cosy with a welcome pack. Philippa was responsive to communications. The only downside was road noise for those sleeping in the front bedrooms
This house worked perfectly for two families to stay. The kids loved the large back garden. We look forward to staying again.

Even though the weather wasn't that good we had a most enjoyable week in the topcroft cottage. We never met Pippa but she was still a great host. It's nice thats there lots of space especially when the rain kicks in.
This was our third trip to the same cottage and it was another fantastic holiday! The rooms are immaculate with plenty of space for our group (4 adults, 4 children). The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, crockery, cooking utensils as well as fresh bread and cake! We always feel well looked after and Pip is a fab host with a personal touch. Thank you!
