Vine Views Suntrap Terrace, Garden And Small Pool With Terrace

New pool installed in Spring 2023! It's still not for lap swimming but great for cooling off. The best part of the house is still the terrace and view.
For any periods outside July and August we offer 10% off for use of one bedroom and bathroom. Please contact us before booking and I can update the rate.

This beautifully renovated typical french village house benefits from the best views in town. The roof terrace offers a magnificent 180 degrees view of the vines and countryside. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with the bedrooms on the first floor (cooler for sleeping) and a large, bright open plan kitchen / living / dining leading out onto the terrace with outside dining, barbecue and private sunbathing.
The main renovation was done in 2012 with exposed beams, travertine floor tiles, ensuite bathroom with Italian shower and rain shower head. Fabulous beds and bedlinen will ensure you get a great night's sleep.

Great village and stay

Location is very nice. Property was spacious with good views from roof terrace. Defiantly will consider going back. Kerry was very helpful and provided good suggestions of things to do whilst we were there.

A little Gem

A wonderful stay in a wonderful home, hosted by an equally lovely lady! Kerry was very friendly, meeting us once we were settled and on hand should we have needed her. Place spotless and sitting watching the world go by from the terrace will stay with me forever. Beautiful old village however I would recommend a car to see more of the area.

Idyllic Rural Setting

Lovely spacious traditional house in a very traditional quiet village within easy reach of Beziers airport. Kerry was on hand with any questions and to welcome us on arrival and provided good advice on things to do locally. House has two good size bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of storage. Open plan livingroom and kitchen had everything we required including access to a huge terrace with amazing views of the village and surrounding countryside. In the July heat the plunge pool was a great addition and frequently used to cool down.

Wunderschönes Haus mit traumhafter Dachterasse

Liebe Kerry, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt in diesem zauberhaften Haus mitten im kleinen Pouzolles. Die Lage ist zentral und dennoch unglaublich ruhig, die Aussicht von der Dachterasse gigantisch. Beim Abendessen genossen wir dieses einzigartige Flair, die Gerüche und das Zwitschern der Vögel. Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann, der Pool ist sehr sauber und erfrischend. Pouzolles ist ein liebenswertes kleines Örtchen, der Bäcker super lecker und im örtlichen Café kann man abends inmitten herzlicher Menschen einen Rosé genießen oder auch sich am Open Air Karaoke (jeden Mittwoch) versuchen. Und zum Meer mit seinen breiten Sandstränden ist es auch nur ein Katzensprung. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, hatten hier eine wunderschöne, erholsame Zeit.

Séjour très appréciable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé séjourner dans cette maison décorée avec goût et avec tout le confort. La maison est idéalement située, à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques et proche de la mer. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de la terrasse durant les beaux jours.

Une maison au calme dans un charmant petit village. La piscine est un plus incontournable, que nous avons beaucoup apprécié, surtout les jours de fortes chaleurs ! La vue de la terrasse est formidable. Kerry est très discrète et nous a donné de très bons conseils de visites et de gastronomie. La maison est bien équipée, et la présence des draps et du linge de toilette est également un très bon point. Séjour à conseiller.

Wonderful full equipment appartment with amazing rooftop

We had a wonderful stay at Vine Views over two weeks. The appartment is fully equipped. Wifi and all the washing machines are working fine. The beds are oké with very nice sheets. Nice to have a pool as well to cool down when the rooftop becomes too hot. The of the private rooftop is absolutely great, you fell in love with it when you will stay ther. The location within the villages of Pouzolles makes it possible to do a lot of activities in the neighbourgood. Hiking in the mountains of the Caroux, to swinning in the rivers Orb and Herault. Also the cities of Beziers and Montpellier are relatively nearby. Every morning fresh bread of the local Boulanger is also nearby. Kerry again thank you for your hosptitality and please to meet you.

Wonderful house in the vines!

I instantly felt a connection to this beautiful, romantic and charming home when we arrived on January 3 for a month long stay. Kerry met us with a very friendly welcome and a lovely fire in the burner glowing strong adding to the comfy and relaxed feel of this three story home. From our first night we felt at home. The Master-bedroom is perfect with it’s large king bed and luxury linens which felt like buttery! The en-suite bathroom has an excellent new modern shower, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. After being out much of the day enjoying the beautiful weather - 12 plus every day, we spent most evenings in enjoying the warm fire and appreciating the open concept living area and well equipped kitchen. The bonus of some excellent UK TV coupled with the wonderful local wines of the Cotes Du Thongue, had us thoroughly enjoying every evening in our lovely temporary home. I would be a remiss if I did not mention the wonderful terrace views and the bells of the local church, the Church of Notre Dame. As we looked out over the village and the vines we felt part of the fabric of the region in addition to having a strong sense of tranquility. It is magical that terrace! Kerry was always available and very knowledgeable about the local area. An excellent host!

Perfect stay

I lived in Pouzolles from 2010 to 2021, met my french husband along the way and we have just moved to Roujan, the next village! Moving here was the best move I have ever made! Having lived in big cities - Dublin, London, Sydney, Melbourne - since finishing college the move to a small village in the South of France was strange at first but I couldn't go back to a city now. I walk my dog in the vines every day, see the seasons change, learn more and more about wine and the vines, enjoy seafood lunches at Bouzigues and Gruissan, swim in lakes and rivers and most of all, what still gives me a huge buzz, is being able to eat lunch outside in February!

Why they chose this property

I was walking my dog on Christmas Day 2011 and caught up with a neighbour who said she had keys to a house for sale and did I know anyone who might want to buy it. I walked onto the terrace, fell in love with the view and that was it! The house was pretty awful inside so we gutted it and started again. We completely changed the layout to put the living area with the views, knocking down almost all of the interior walls and rewired, added insulation, added a bathroom, retiled, repainted and then attacked the jungle! The garden was literally just a mass of weeds and brambles so we put in the terraces, added the pool and the deck around it. We are delighted with the result and so far all of my guests have been too.
