Doniford beach, well-known for its fossils, is 5 minutes walk away and Doniford Halt, a stop on the West Somerset Steam Railway, is 10 minutes walk from the bungalow.

Very comfortable everything we needed and more. We were left a welcome tray which was very nice ( a cup of tea ) on arrival. The only issue we had was we couldn't turn the storage heater off in the living room lol it was warmer inside with all the doors and windows open lol we arrived early because we expected a lot of traffic at Bristol but didn't hit any until we were on our way back home to the midlands. Hopefully coming back next year but for a longer stay as we didn't manage to see all the site's. Kate was very kind and let us book in early. Parking was perfect as I am a disabled driver.

Great location. Close to beach station and walks.

Comfortable clean accommodation. Lots of useful information about area Kate was so helpful when we had car breakdown and needed to extend our stay,she arranged alternative accommodation nearby.

Love the location

We really enjoyed our stay in Doniford. We have stayed at the property before and it’s a great base to go all over west Somerset. We had no problems at all and everything we needed was here. Also great for birds in the garden.

Nice bungalow with garden near sea

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in June. Loved the outdoor space and the location. Decor and furniture a little tired, but no complaints. Had all we needed. Kate was friendly, helpful and responsive.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property as I used to come to Doniford Meadow on holiday myself as a child and loved it, especially hunting for fossils on the beach. I wanted to be able to bring my family to Doniford for holidays and give others the opportunity of discovering the delights of the area for themselves.
