Spacious 1 bedroom apartment, perfect for relaxing or exploring!

Whether you want to lounge by the pool or explore the island, this is a fantastic location and perfect for year round holidays!

In 2024 we installed new air conditioning units in both the lounge and the bedroom along with a new oven to ensure our guests have the best experience with us. The apartment also features a 32" television and beautiful pictures purchased from the indoor municipal market in Paphos, it's great to have something painted by local artists. Our apartment also includes a Tassimo coffee machine (pods not supplied) and hairdryer as well as free Wi-fi, UK TV and sunbeds on the balcony. We have also added a cool bag and ice packs for you to use during your stay.
The Vanessa complex is situated between the village of Peyia and Coral Bay. A perfect retreat to escape from everyday life! Situated on the stunning Vanessa Complex with it's landscaped gardens the facilities (all shared) include sunbeds & a larger than average outdoor pool. A further smaller outdoor and indoor heated pool can be found downstairs where you will also find the sauna and changing rooms. Private parking is also available. The apartment can be accessed via a lift and has stunning views of both the mountain and Peyia village, which is particularly beautiful when lit up at night. Just 15 minutes walk away is the traditional village of Peyia which has all the facilities you could need including, supermarkets, restaurants, banks, butchers and bakers. Coral Bay offers a beautiful sandy beach, water sports, further restaurants, shops and bars and is just 3 miles away. Paphos is just a 20 minute drive where you can find the superb harbour, fort and archaeological sites to explore. For those of you who are more adventurous the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula can be explored by quad bikes or a 4x4 which can be hired locally. Other places to visit would include the Troodos Mountains, there are some lovely villages on your trip up there as well as monasteries and various vineyards. If you fancy going further afield why not venture over to Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Larnaca or Limassol. Not far from Ayia Napa is Dherynia where you can view the ghost town of Famagusta, 40,000 people fled the town after the Turkish invasion in 1974. Closer to Paphos I would recommend visiting Pissouri, it has a beautiful beach and the hill top village is still very traditional. Latchi is a place we love to go for lunch. It has a lovely marina and is the ideal place to get a boat out to the Blue Lagoon. Alternative ways to reach the lagoon are to hire a quad bike, get the jeep safari or if you feel up to it you can walk!

Lovely apartment in great location. A little disappointed that not even a bottle of water welcomed us. We normally receive a small welcome pack when we rent. Also no cleaning products not even washing up liquid or bin bags & toilet bags. We had to go shopping straight away to get essentials. The only other moan we had was the internet as we could not watch the tv as it kept dropping out.However, we loved our stay at the apartment & would definitely recommend it. We would definitely book again but will go shopping first & hopefully the internet will be better.

It was a lovely stay. We stayed for two weeks in August. As mentioned to the owner, the air conditioning in the height of summer was a little disappointing, as it was only on a 2 hour timer at any one time. Great communication with the owner and myself throughout.

Lovely little apartment, set in a very well looked after complex. Although the apartment could do with a little tic in the bathroom. Needed a good clean and a new shower curtain. The area is within easy reach of Coral Bay and Paphos. Although we hired a car there are buses that run regular and there are some lovely bars/restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay

A gem.

An absolutely lovely complex and a lovely apartment with everything hou need close by. I would suggest eating locally rather than go down tothe strip. The locals are lovely and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Sovas, peyia tavern and costas tavern among the best eats. Would definitely rent again if around these parts.

The process was easy from start to finish and Karen got back to all messages quickly and was so helpful. The property is in a lovely location and the complex was very quiet with access to a lovely pool. The apartment has everything you need - the only thing missing was a frying pan ! We will definitely be back.

Quiet location but within easy reach of a very well stocked shop and public transport. Although it was November the weather was great. The apartment balcony gets the sun in the morning. If you want afternoon sun use the pool area where there are plenty of sun beds. If you arrive late in the evening get some provisions on your way there as there was no milk for tea or coffee.

A family wedding

Location great. So too, the property and Karen was a responsive and caring host. I ended up not actually staying in the apartment because my family (my niece was getting married at Coral Bay) had, at the last moment, a spare room in their villa, so wanted me to stay there, so that we could arrange things from under one roof . But this doesn't stop me from recommending Karen's place and Peyia itself. It was my first visit to Cyprus and there is so much to discover. Thanks Karen for being so obliging and I know that whoever comes to Vanessa Villas will have a fabulous time!

Fantastic Apartment, Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here from the 4th - 14th July and had a great time. As an amputee i found it very easy to get around everywhere and having the lift was great. The apartment was very well equipped and had some fantastic views. The pool was massive and it was always so quiet and relaxing by the pool, at times it felt like we were in our own villa with a private pool. Parking was also very easy as we could park right next to the lift throughout our stay. Karen was fantastic whenever i needed a question answering, and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends, and may have already planted the seed about going back. Tom (21) Lancashire

Cyprus June 2024

Due to the previous review, we felt apprehensive regarding having no air conditioning. We contacted VRBO/ host with our concerns, and we was informed that the A/C would be replaced before our stay. A couple of days before we were to to stay the host contacted us to inform us that this has now been placed with a new unit. We were very pleased to find a new unit especially as Cyprus was having a heat wave. Thank you to the host and VRBO for making our stay enjoyable.

We had a great stay in these apartments. Really quiet and good location. Good size apartment and balcony. Had all the equipment needed. A few things could do with replacing, a wonky frying pan for example. The only let down was the Property Management Company, we mentioned the TV didn't work and just got told to be patient as the Internet isn't very good. It never worked but at the end of the day we weren't there to watch TV. Also the air con in the bedroom wasn't very efficient. All in all we really enjoyed it and would book again.

Good Apartment

All in all we were happy with the accommodation. There are definitely a few things that should be updated. The location of the apartment is very central and you can walk to the city center. However, you definitely need a vehicle to get to the beach. It was a construction site next to the Vanessa Complex, but this was communicated in advance and didn't really affect us. The only thing that really bothered me was the agency that manages the apartment, where we were treated very unprofessionally when we complained about the functioning of the internet. Very rude and reproachful. With Karen, on the other hand, communication was very friendly and courteous. Thank you again.

great apartment

Our wee apartment was perfect; well proportioned and thoughtfully stocked and furnished. the Air con was bliss after a hot day out. the complex was lovely and the pool was amazing. we couldn't have asked for more from our holiday and the apartment helped make it the wonderful holiday it was. it was clean, airy and light. the umbrella outside made having breakfast on the balcony a must and we did most mornings. we had noticed comments in the comments book about how the toilet struggled to flush. it was fine. yes it took a few minutes to refill but that's just Greek plumbing; we've had that experience elsewhere. The only things we noticed were that the oven wasn't working (or i just couldn't figure it out) and the TV box wasn't really working but we didn't go on holiday to watch TV. we're not generally people who go back to the same place twice but our experience in Cyprus has already got us talking about coming back next year. a great package overall and a lovely apartment. thank you for making our holiday what it was - almost perfect.

This apartment is a spacious one bedroom with everything you need, we especially used the Bluetooth speaker to listen to our fav radio station whilst having a latte from the Tassimo coffee machine supplied sitting on the balcony, we also used the washing machine which was handy as I came home with little washing, the A/C was a godsend as the weather was extremely hot most of our time there. Karen our host was brilliant, first of all we had initially booked the wrong dates and when we contacted Karen to say she amended the dates and reimbursed us for the extra day we had overbooked, we also asked for a late check out which was granted too, anytime we messaged which wasn't often Karen got back very quick and helped resolve the situation, perfect host from start to finish. The complex is lovely so quiet and clean, we spent most mornings by the outside pool, sunbeds and shaded places available which were needed as the weather was very hot whilst we were there, we had hired a car which we feel you need for visiting Coral Bay or the supermarket or driving to the little neighbouring towns. Parking was available directly below the apartment. The best place for breakfast was The Brewery Bar staff were lovely and always remembered you, We would especially say a visit to the Japanese restaurant in Coral Bay for the live chef cooking experience is a must such a laugh and the food is excellent, Cyprus itself never disappoints and we would definitely book Karen's apartment again.

Dont book if you like to cook and have a/c

towel rail was loose and the bath was dirty on arrival little chilly in the evenings using the a/c as an inverter failed-kept turning itself off every 5 mins the potato peeler was in two halves the main knife was broken and both saucepans were severely scratched when we got out a spare quilt it was badly stained and the oven seal had gone meaning you had to turn regularly as the rear was much hotter than the front wifi was a 3mbps -not fast enough so no tv So we called office and they sent Grace who was very understanding and apologetic she replaced the peeler the knife and the saucepans took the quilt to be cleaned and explained that the a/c was very old and really needed replacing - she sent a guy to fix things-the towel rail was fixed albeit not straight the a/c was tinkered with but no better but Grace lent us their office heater and she did get the wifi fixed -finally there was a new seal fitted to the oven - yes!! No!!- the seal was the wrong type and fell off the first time we tried to use the oven -told Grace also now needed a/c to cool as got hot -they tried to fit the same incorrect seal as that was all he could do -oven 20 yrs old (his words)-the a/c they reset but the man told me it needed a new unit and sure enough the next day it would not work at all despite me restting it-oh and the seal fell off again ok as a base but with no a/c in the living room and a faulty oven- and bedroom a/c unit on 2hr timer so hot at night!! TV BOX WAS GREAT POOL GREAT BUT NO GYM!

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property as I love Cyprus, it is a country that I feel very at home in. I adore the location as the village of Peyia is quite peaceful and you have bars, shops & restaurants all within walking distance yet 5 minutes drive away you have the beautiful Coral Bay beach and the plaza with a wider selection of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Paphos is close too with it's beautiful harbour and for those who love music I can recommend the Paphos festival when they turn the Fort into the backdrop for an open air opera - this was amazing!

What makes this property unique

The reason I picked this particular apartment was because of the space it offers and the fact that the bathroom is independent of the bedroom making it easy to access if you are using the sofa bed. Being on the second floor and accessed by a lift or stairs the views are amazing and the large balcony is the perfect place to sit and recharge your batteries! The apartment has been well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.
