BODEN HOWE is perfectly situated on a peaceful, elevated terrace with uninterrupted views over Ambleside and fells. There is no vehicular access to the property but this adds to the uniqueness of the house. Outdoor seating is provided both at the front and rear of the house and ample parking is available nearby. A complimentary leisure pass is provided for use at the Salutation Hotel less than 100 yds away. Private parking for three cars (two securely) is located 100 mtrs from the house. Boden Howe is stylishly furnished and maintained to a high standard by its local owners who are on hand should you require their services at any time.
Short breaks (minimum of 4 nights) are available during Low Season as are enquiries for last minute availability throughout the year.

Boden Howe was purchased by my parents in 1961 and where I lived until 1977; my parents continued to live there until 2007 and the property has subsequently proved to be a popular choice for holidaymakers ever since. Boden Howe is one of four terraced houses originally built and occupied by my forebears.
Why they chose this property
Rather than relinquish Boden Howe in 2010 we lovingly refurbished the property and are passionate about providing guests with everything they require for a memorable holiday in Ambleside.
What makes this property unique
Boden Howe is located in an unrivalled location overhanging the village and boasting exceptional views of the surrounding fells. There is no vehicular access to the property but this adds to the unique tranquility of the house. Private parking is provided for three vehicles (two may be garaged) a matter of yards away with adequate additional space for bikes, etc.
A well maintained sloping garden includes an attractive patio area with a glorious westerly aspect.
Perhaps the jewel in the crown is the complimentary leisure pass membership to The Salutation Hotel and Spa which is a cherished facility for many returning families.
