A modern spacious recently upgraded apartment with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs. The apartment sleeps 6 adults in the 3 bedrooms and 2 children (under 12) in the hall bunk bed.

The property has 2 balconies for those wishing to sit outside and enjoy the scenery with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.

The apartment is located just a short walk away from all the amenities of La Grande Terche. For those who wish to venture further afield the resort is linked by ski bus to the Portes Du Soleil ski area (the largest in the World!) and the ski lift at Ardent is just a quick 15 min drive away- here you can access Avoriaz, Chatel and Morzine.
There is a locked garage for guests to store their car, ski equipment and cycles (in summer).

The kitchen dining and lounge have recently been completely renewed and is now ideal for those wishing to self-catering .

A great stay !

It was great ! Plenty of hot water and plenty of heat. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of DVD ( films ) to watch. The TV is connected up to the free sat channels. The apartment has two bathrooms which was great !

Fabulous summer stay!

We had two fantastic weeks staying at L'Ourson. The apartment is really well equipped, and had everything we needed and more. There was a fabulous kitchen with all mod cons, 2 bathrooms, satellite TV and DVD etc. The apartment was in a peaceful location and perfectly situated for us to enjoy all the summer activities the area has to offer. A car is essential in the summer months. The apartment also has a garage/store which was necessity for us to store our 5 mountain bikes. We will definitely return, hopefully for skiing next year!

Très bel appartement pour une semaine de ski a saint jean d aulps et ses environs. L appartement est fonctionnel, moderne et parfaitement agencé. Nous sejournions en famille avec nos grands enfants et leurs compagnons.La station de Saint Jean offre toutes les commodites et les Gets, Morzine sont accessibles rapidement.Très belle expérience

Appartement de qualité tant par la literie, l'électroménager, la vaisselle et la décoration. L'accès aux pistes est très rapide 2 minutes en voiture, car 3 enfants en bas âges (mais faut il avoir une place pour pouvoir stationner). Sinon pour les bon skieur piste rouge juste derrière la résidence. Les échanges sont de faciles et de qualité avec les proprietaires. Merci à vous

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce logement tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Logement a été rénové récemment la cuisine est très bien équipée. ( nous n'avons pas trouvé l'appareil à raclette et l'appareil à fondue). La literie et de très bonne qualité.

Bel appartement confortable et spacieux pour 5 personnes. Literie de bonne qualité, équipements de cuisine en quantité. 2 salles de bains et 2 WC, c'est un plus. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement, son environnement et la vue. Dommage qu'on entende les bruits du voisin du dessus.

superbe appartement

l'appartement est super bien équipé, vaisselle, machines à laver le linge, la vaisselle. rien à redire. la literie de très bonne qualité et lit "king size", le parquet donne un coté chaleureux et agréable. l'appartement est bien situé avec vue sur la vallée. et avec un peu de chance une belle chute de neige qui a recouvert toute la station. Un plus avec la piste de ski en neige de culture qui permet de redescendre jusqu'aux "oeufs". un village qui a su rester garder son âme montagnarde

Absolutely faultless

We’ve stayed in many ski apartments and summer villa rentals over the years and this was our favourite by far. The whole apartment is newly refurbished so feels clean and contemporary. The bathrooms are newly refitted both with great showers. The owners have also equipped the apartment with every eventuality in mind. Really clever use of space and storage makes it feel open and airy. We needed to contact the owner with a slight issue with the hot water - they called us within a few minutes of us emailing and followed up with a email. Literally can’t fault it. Will definitely rebook/recommend.

Mooi ingericht appartement met alle voorzieningen

Ons verblijf was zeer goed, ook omdat het grotendeels prachtig weer was. De garage was ook een plus-punt, niettegenstaande onze auto er niet in kon, was het toch een goede berging voor ski-materiaal Wel een beetje problemen gehad met de verwarming want in het begin kregen we het appartement niet goed opgewarmd. Maar was vlug opgelost. Thanks Richard and Heidi

Unfortunately just as you arrived there was a power supply issue to the resort as a result of heavy snowfall! The garage is fine for cars but I don't think it is possible to fit some of the larger minivans in. There are some spaces outside for larger vehicles as you discovered. Fabulous apartment

We really enjoyed our trip to St Jean, despite the lack of snow. This apartment is brilliant for our family of 5. It’s spacious, clean and bright and everything is provided for your comfort. The beds and bed linen are so lovely and comfortable, just like home! The kitchen and living area is so well equipped. Lots of DVDs for a cosy night in. The washer dryer was great, as it meant we could travel light and go home with less washing. It’s within a very short walking distance to the ski hire shop, bars, restaurants, ESF and cable car. A short drive you can park at Ardent and access the whole port du soleil ski area, which is higher in altitude so we had some great skiing. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Get to the Sherpa early to get bread. Or the bakers in the main village are a short drive away, as is the carrefour. Thank you Heidi & Richard

After spending many holidays in the French Alps we finally decided to take the plunge and purchased an apartment in the family ski resort of La Grande Terche.

Why they chose this property

We bought our holiday apartment because we wanted all year round activities in a fantastic setting which the Portes Du Soleil offers.

La Grand Terche is a small quiet friendly ski resort a short drive from St Jean D'Aulps.

Geneva is just over an hour away with many flights from the UK.

What makes this property unique

Our modern clean well equipped apartment offers accommodation for larger families, friends or for two smaller families sharing. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and most importantly two separate toilets!

The apartment had great views across the valley -perfect after a hard days activity. Summer evenings can be spent on the balcony enjoying the local wine.

Our apartment is located just a short walk (150 meters) from the main gondola, restaurants, and small supermarket.

There is a quick lift up to the apartment which is located on the fifth floor.

There is a lockable garage for skis in winter and cyclists in the summer.
