Come and visit our newly and completely renovated 1940 in town home. You will enjoy the light and open feel of this home. It is a 2 bedroom /1 bath, 1300 square foot home with new central air and heat, wireless internet, smart televisions with cable, natural stone gas fireplace, bright and cheerful sunroom, and beautiful granite countertops on custom built cabinets. Some of the home's original features were kept and enhanced such as the front door, archways, windows and hardwood floors which gives the home a nice mix of old and new. There is a large yard with privacy fence, outdoor gas grill, garage for bike storage, front deck with seating and new landscaping. The home location is perfect, situated between Downtown and Brevard College in a quiet side-walk lined desirable neighborhood. It is an easy walk to restaurants, downtown micro brewery, shops, Franklin Park and Pool, Silvermont, Farmer's Market and the library. It is only driving minutes away from the Brevard Music Center and the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest.

Brevard is a quaint yet vibrant little town set in the middle of "The Land of Waterfalls" with beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails, natural water slides and gorgeous waterfalls. It hosts several festivals, outdoor music concerts and biking events. Brevard is 25 minutes from the Asheville Airport and 40 minutes from the Biltmore House and Downtown Asheville.

Perfect hiking getaway

This bungalow was the perfect getaway for us to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Pisgah and the lovely downtown amenities of brevard! We were pleasantly surprised with welcome snacks for us and a dog bone for our fur baby! The house had everything we needed and the backyard was perfect for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine!

Beautiful home, could’ve stayed longer.

Immaculate house, great location

We were very happy with our stay here. The house actually seemed bigger in real life than it did in the photos! We loved lounging in the living room with the gas fireplace, and cooking in the newly-renovated kitchen. The bedrooms are both a good size and very comfortable. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions during our stay. We tried to leave it as tidy as we found it since we hope to stay here again!

Fantastic!

We loved this home, especially for the reason we came to Brevard, mountain biking. They have a garage, a hose for cleaning bikes, the garage is really part of a huge basement for storage. I'm trying hard to think of something that would be constructive criticism to make it better and can't come up with anything. The home is beautifully and comfortably decorated. We walked to town several nights to enjoy beautiful Brevard. It was great walking home after eating.

Quick Brevard weekend

The house was fully remodeled and within walking distance of downtown Brevard. The area is centrally located to Dupont Woods, Pisgah National Forest and probably lots of paddling (we were mountain biking). Brevard is a fantastic destination for road or mountain bikers, hikers and paddlers. We were there for a quick biking and hiking weekend with our Lab and this made a perfect basecamp for us. The neighborhood was quiet and the AC worked great since it was really hot last weekend. If you have bike(s), you can securely store them in the garage around back and there is a fenced yard for your pup, if you bring one. Will definitely look for this house again on another trip to the Brevard area.

South Carolina low country visitors

Our week long stay in Brevard and the the Franklin St. home could not have been more enjoyable. The home was in a great location and very walkable to downtown. We found the home to be extrtemely clean, very comfortable and well supplied. We especially enjoyed setting arround the fire ring each evening and enjoying coffee each morning either on the front porch or in the sun room. We were entertained each day by the white squirrels running through the neighborhood. The owner (Julie), made sure we knew she was available for any questions about the area or her home. The purpose of our visit was to search for a mountain home as a second residence. We hope we can find a home as wonderrful as the Franklin street home.

Perfectly renovated, delightful cottage- everything we needed and more!

Myself, my partner and our 5 month old son stayed in Julie and Dennis' newly renovated home for 4 nights and we were so impressed and delighted with the experience! The home is beautiful- newly renovated- and the perfect size- and Julie and Dennis thought of everything! From extra towels and wash cloths to the little things like coffee filters and sugar- that you always forget to bring when staying in a home. The details were fabulous. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the space was perfect. Equipped with even top of the line appliances and cutlery, it felt luxury! Wish we'd had time to grill or to use the fire pit (they have firewood there and everything) but even without using those wonderful amenities, our stay was great!! We will definitely be back!

We are frequent visitors to Brevard and this was our fave location. The house itself is equipped with all you need for a relaxing stay. Plenty of room and a nice sized kitchen. [Note, there are both drip and pod coffee makers] Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard and walks in Franklin Park and on the Brevard College campus. Walking to town and not needing to park was a great way to experience the farmers market, Bracken Mountain Bakery and other spots. There are back routes to Pisgah and DuPont for MTB and hiking. Being able to store bikes in the garage was a plus, too!

Second time visiting this property

Convenient and comfortable! The best compliment is that we stayed here 10 months ago and returned to spend a full week this summer. Great location, easy walk to downtown restaurants and stores as well as easy walk to the Brevard College campus. This trip we found Franklin Park and Pool which is less than two blocks away. If a guest has a child, there is an amazing play structure / fort at this nearby park.White squirrel watch continued; this time we spotted three white squirrels at one time together on the Brevard College campus.Thanks for sharing your cottage! We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful place to call home for a few days! So close to everything! My son is a Football Coach at Brevard and we could walk to his game. Great neighborhood and we even had a white squirrel in the yard!

house was in a great location in downtown brevard. home was clean and comfortable. had all of the amenities we needed. a fence back yard was great since we had our dog with us. we even saw white squirrels which brevard is noted for. had a great long weekend and would highly recommend this home.
