Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the large oceanfront deck which features a Vita SPA hot tub, comfortable seating, and stainless steel grill for cooking your fresh catch or Caribbean lobster. Enjoy the beautiful, white-sand private beach from your deck or hammock under Tiki Hut.

Kokomo features 2 Master Bedroom Suites and is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Each bedroom has a king size bed and a really nice adjoining bath with tile from floor to ceilings – one with a large shower and the other with a Jacuzzi tub/shower combination. Each bedroom has a 6’ x 8’ window facing the beach and BEAUTIFUL water. The ‘Great Room’ is in the center of the house so the bedrooms have privacy on each side.
The gourmet kitchen has everything you could wish for and a large, stainless steel grill on the deck offers additional cooking options. There is a stand-alone ice maker in addition to the one in the bottom-freezer refrigerator. Kokomo has a dishwasher and built in microwave, too. The laundry room/pantry has a stacking, front-loading, GE washer and dryer for your convenience.
Kokomo has 2 Pack and Plays for very small children and 3 sizes of blow up, Coleman air mattresses (youth, twin, and queen) for extra sleeping space for children. The dining table can seat 6, and there is an additional dining table on the deck for four – allowing convenient, alfresco dining. Lounge chairs are provided for enjoying the beach – sunbathing or relaxing under the coconut trees or Tiki Hut.
Bone fishing flats are all along the beach and the barrier reef is right out in front. Walk out on the flats and collect sand dollars at low tide. Paddle out in the kayaks or paddle boards to the small island outcroppings of the reef, or take your own 16-foot Carolina Skiff to explore nearby islands and discover your own private beach.
The many large windows offer spectacular views of the beach, ocean, and small islands in front.
The home features free wireless Internet and Ethernet ports and free local and Internet phone calls.

Please check with me if you have any questions. I will help you plan your perfect vacation! I try to answer every inquiry as quickly as possible - sometimes within minutes. If I am traveling it can take a little longer, but I check for messages all the time. We would LOVE To have you visit our properties!

Paradise found!

Our stay at Kokomo was amazing! From booking to communicating with Kathy, to arrival… could not have been better organized. The property itself is what we expected from the listing and more. It was clean and extremely well appointed. We could not be happier with our experience… Kokomo is a great place to have a vacation!

First Time Family Visit To The Bahamas

Kokomo is the perfect home for the first time stay or for anytime stay for two couples. The home was clean, in excellent condition and well stocked with everything you need from cooking to beach fun. And the boat and motor are in good condition and a wonderful plus to our stay. We had a wonderful time and look forward to another visit in the future. Thank you Kathy!

Fantastic as always

Cute little bungalow.

This place is great. The owner is so easy to work with, anything you need, she is just a call away and very helpful. The place is very well stocked. Very clean, I just wish there was more stuff rebuilt and more to do in town, but the property itself is beautiful. I wouldn’t think twice about renting it.

I have stayed in many VRBO's all over the world and this one is THE BEST

I travel the world for a living. I have stayed at many locations throughout the world and this is my favorite one hands down. Even though the location is away from town, Kathy has the house stocked with everything that you need and the drive is VERY EASY (20 mins). She also is very organized and has EVERY question answered before you leave for your trip. From the house itself, the beach, the boat, the snorkeling, the water..... what's not to love. I cant wait to bring my family here!!!

Beautiful place!

We spent a relaxing week at Kokomo in early June. We have rented many houses and condos in the US, Europe and even New Zealand. This is by far the best equipped of all we have rented. Kathy and Gary have furnished this house with everything you need for your vacation – lots of beach towels, dishes and cooking equipment, basic condiments, cleaning supplies, and more. The house and amenities are exactly as portrayed on the website. We enjoy cooking and only ate out once. On Gary’s recommendation, we at lunch at Pete’s Pub at Little Harbour and had the best fish sandwiches ever. Having dinner on our deck overlooking the water was a better view than any restaurant. We purchased excellent fresh fish at the Fish Market by the harbor in Marsh Harbour (fantastic crawfish and red snapper) and grilled it on the gas grill. We enjoyed using the boat provided at Kokomo to explore the local area. The internet connection was good and was helpful for looking up local information. The information and help we received from Kathy and Gary before and during the trip was exceptional. We were happy they were on the island while we were there and enjoyed getting to know them both. The house is in excellent condition. When we had a minor issue with a ceiling fan, Gary was there immediately to fix it for us. We can’t say enough good about them and Kokomo. We hope to return!

Paradise is the only way to describe Kokomo.

We had an exceptional stay and couldn't have asked for anything better; it was the perfect place to unwind. Outfitted to satisfy every need, you can do as much as you want or as little. The housekeepers went out of their way to look after us as did the property managers. We felt truly spoiled and are already thinking of our next trip back and this time for a longer period.

This Should Be The VRBO Template

Kathy: I have to commend you on what a great place you have and maintain. We utilize VRBO extensively. And we have become accustomed to norms and "what to expect" from the average VRBO host. Your place should be a template as a sterling example. Upon acquiring our rental car, we went to Maxwell's and loaded up, including essentials such as paper products, ice, spices, etc. WRONG! You had nearly every sundry and dry good we purchased. And the ice machine worked flawlessly. Your book is an excellent guide and is specific and easily tabulated to find instructions and/or notes. My wife's favorite "toy" was the kayak. Mine was the hammock. We enjoyed Pete's, golfed a lovely round at Winding Bay and had an excellent hogfish sandwich at the Sandpiper Inn (Schooner Cove). We can't say enough of the view. The color of the water is stunning. Just to walk in the turquoise water was restorative. The starfish only added to this "heavenly" delight. Of note, we did not use any a/c. The wind was too delightful. No television either. The internet and VOIP phone was used, in the mornings, to communicate with the office. The hot-tub was enjoyed. We left some groceries for the house keepers. Stripped the bed and washed towels, as per your detailed instructions. Again, thank you so very much. We have referred your website to many family and friends.

Wonderful beach house, perfect for two couples with independent en suite bedrooms, separated by a spacious kitchen and living room area. Great porch facing the white sand beach with hot tub for outdoor relaxation. Great swimming beach area with bone fish flats right out the front door!

Super Fun Family Vacation!

Great house! Ocean view from every room. Loved the porch, spent a lot of time lounging out there. Having the beach right in the back yard was a great luxury with a toddler. We could easily just walk out the backdoor and be on the beach to let her run and play in the sand. We also enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. There were turtles out everyday just to the right of the house, we would paddle and go check them out daily. Can't wait to return, we had a fantastic time and were sad to leave.

Great family vacation

Kokomo was a great house for 2 couples and 2 small children. The house is directly on the beach with a fabulous view and a great porch (where we spent most of our time with the kids). We traveled there with a 7 month old and a 2 year old and the house worked perfectly for us. House was well equipped and had everything we needed. Kathy was very prompt answering questions and knew all the spots to go for anything we needed. Fun was had by all and we hope to return again.

Kokomo was absolutely wonderful! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had the most amazing view! It was perfect for two couples with 2 masters and each with a beautiful view. Kathy was so amazing and I have rented MANY VRBO rentals and she was by far the most gracious and accommodating. The Casurina Pount area is about 15 miles from town but the drive is easy and no big deal. But if had not needed beer and bread, we probably would have not left this little slice of Heaven! Kathy's recommendations are perfect. JR for bone fishing, Charles for Reef fishing, and Debbie for catering made our week that much more special! We made some great new friends while they shared there paradise and expertise with us. Have fun and enjoy this gem!!

Best ever!

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and could think of no better place than back in Abaco at Kokomo. It was our second visit and we can't wait to go again. We have found no place better to fall into complete relaxation. Step off the back porch onto the powdery sand then a few more steps to the warm, clear water. Love it. Kathy goes above and beyond to make it a dream vacation. Only problem...going back home.

Perfect Place to Get Away from it all

The house was terrific. It had everything we could need and more. Very well appointed. The location is simply superb. We hit the market on our way and then never left the Pointe. Too much sun and beauty to soak in. The house is located on the beach so going back and forth for drinks and such was easy. My young daughter loved the clear water and the calmness of the waves. I didn't have to stress about her safety like I would at other locations. The boat included in the rental made exploring the area and accessing the small islands for snorkeling easy.

Best Vacation So Far!!!

Kokomo is one of those homes and destinations you will want to return to...and it's hard to leave! Just amazingly comfortable and gorgeous. We stayed with another couple and Kokomo has a wonderful layout for a two bedroom home, providing tons of privacy. The modern kitchen and livingroom with sliding glass doors, provide endless views of the spectacular beach and brilliantly colored water. Remarkable opportunities for boating, fishing, snorkling, exploring, shell collecting and relaxing. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking and the scenery is astounding. There are some good restaurants and we also found we had alot of fun cooking on the gas grill the fresh fish we caught. Kathy and Gary, the owners, are marvelous. They are extremely gracious and generous, truely wanting guest to have the best possible vacation. They have succeeded!!!! The only regret is that we wished we had stayed for two weeks instead of just one.

What an absolutely amazing place!!

This was our second visit to Abaco and to this same rental property and we can't say enough good things about it. The location is breathtaking, the rental absolutely perfect, and the experience...beyond compare. Anyone looking to enjoy a vacation that is based on serene relaxation instead of hectic beach crowds would love this area. Groups of friends looking to sit their chairs in the shallow waters with drinks in hand, couples wanting to have a quiet getaway, or families with kids who can play to their hearts content in the gorgeous waters...all would be thrilled to come here.The rental was clean, well appointed and had everything you would need - all well cared for by the hosts (Kathy and Gary) who are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are not happy unless you are happy and they work very hard to make that the case for everyone vacationing at their property. Do yourself a favour and visit for your next vacation!

Memorable 30th Wedding Anniversary

We stayed at Kokomo House on Abaco Island this past May with another couple. The house was great...a perfect layout for two couples. It included everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. We really enjoyed the use of the skiff and the hot tub. The view was a postcard and having the private beach steps from the house was fantastic. You will need to rent a car to get to restaurants and grocery stores. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, Kathy and Gary, and they were very warm and gracious. We highly recommend Kokomo!

My husband and I first visited Abaco and Casuarina Point in 1996. We were hooked! We vacationed there with our 3 sons and decided to purchase property and build our dream, beach home - Abaco Palms, in 2005. We built Kokomo in 2009 and added Camp David, a 3 bedroom 3 and 1/2 bath, and Calypso, a 4 bedroom 2+bath house in 2013. Our sons are grown now and they still LOVE to spend family time in Abaco at Casuarina Point. To us it is heaven on earth!

Why they chose this property

Casuarina Point is a unique location. We enjoy the beautiful, crystal clear shallow water in front of the house, and we are protected by the reef out front that is so fun for snorkeling and fishing. There are many uninhabited islands to explore - private beaches for swimming and picnics - blue holes to explore - bone fish to catch - nature to discover - the list can go on and on! It is a great location for kayaking - Our Abaco Palms Properties have 13 kayaks - 4 tandem, 7 adult, and 2 child size that work for up to 130 pounds. There are a few at each of our 4 houses, and you can borrow from the other houses if you need a different combination. We also have paddle boards - 7 stand up and 3 knee boards so far.
Kokomo come with a 16' Carolina Skiff - moored in front of the house and it is perfect for exploring the area. This is not possible at most ocean front beach houses - the reef's protection makes it possible. Our white sand beach stretches for miles - a perfect walking, exploring beach. Try it - you will be hooked, too!

What makes this property unique

All of our rentals include use of 16' Carolina Skiff. (We have 4 houses and 5 boats - so we have a backup if there is ever a problem.) There is a boat moored in front of each house for your use to go fishing, snorkeling, or exploring the many small islands in the area. There is a Vita SPA hot tub on each deck, and 13 kayaks, 6 paddle boards, and 3 knee paddle boards for our guests use for exercise and exploring. The houses and decks have spectacular views -and you walk right out on the beautiful, white sand beach with crystal clear water. It is a setting that can't be beat!
