The fold out couch with the bed was awful. It needs to be replaced. You could feel the springs everywhere and it squeaks terribly very uncomfortable. I recommend that gets replaced. That is an expensive stay for a very uncomfortable sleep. Also, I know it’s not really in your control but the homeless people next-door in the field are terribly loud in the middle of the night. It’s unfortunate that you have to listen to them fighting at 2 AM.Otherwise, the day was very pleasant thank you for having us

Honestly everything was as advertised, it was easy to park to check in and it’s in a supreme spot! The balcony was so nice to watch sunsets and everything was very very VERY clean! Bonus it had AC throughout the whole apartment but we kept it sectioned off in the bedroom only at night so we could enjoy the breeze. The complex was quiet and felt very safe.

Great location and great pool! Clean and updated unit. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great in both the bedroom and living/kitchen area. On the downside, the beach chairs need to be replaced (only 2 chairs) and need more beach towels(only 2) and supplies. The linens need upgrading. Overall it was a reasonable price for the amenities.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great after I worked out a few bugs.The air conditioner did not work. After cleaning the air filter and resetting the error code all was well. The microwave also was not working! After a few minutes of investigation, I found the GFI had tripped. Reset the GFI and it worked fine. Then the coffee maker did not have power, GFI was also tripped. The batteries in the television remote were dead. Switched them with the sound system remote batteries, all was well. Purchased new batteries and put them in the television remote. The homeless camp out the north window made us feel right at home.

The room is extremely close to the pool too, if you like that. However, the condo is old, not very clean and has cockroaches. I thought maybe that was normal, the bug part, but all my friends who have stayed at other rentals in Kihei said that they have never seen a cockroach inside their rentals. I highly recommend that this condo gets treated more often or something.

This property is perfectly located to access all the attractions both south and north of Kihei.

We found the condo quite suitable for our needs, nicely decorated, nice quiet pool area, great access to all three Kamaole beaches. We like the location very much. Unlike other reviews, I did not find the unit "spotlessly clean", but clean enough. The cleaning person should clean the 3 glass decor jars in the bathroom once in a while (I cleaned them because I didn't want to look at them being dirty for two weeks while we were there), and the north facing window louvers and screens were very dirty. Nice assortments of beach equipment, good balcony, very comfy bed. A remote control for the bedroom fan would be handy. Generally good value; friendly neighbors in the other units. Noisy roosters crowing nearby at 5 a.m., but I guess not much can be done about that!

The property communicated with me throughout the stay.

My ONLY complaint was the bedroom was HOT and never cooled down . Also the property send you an email a few days before arrival and not everything in their packet is correct. We drove 35 minutes to see some live music/ food truck. We get there and the town is as quiet as a mouse. We went to eat at Polly’s Mexican restaurant and the waitress says they no longer do live music due to the pandemic. The property needs to update their packet. These were my 2 complaints. Jennifer and housekeeping were fabulous!

Location, Comfort, Perfection!

Not only is this complex right in the heart of Kihei, this unit is the perfect location in the complex! Within a very short walking distance, you'll find restaurants, groceries, beaches (with turtles and whale sightings!!), activities, shopping and more! This is a corner unit with island breezes flowing through to keep it nice and cool. The location within the complex is close, but not too close to the pool, it is just far enough off South Kihei Rd to not have traffic or restaurant noise like many other units, while still close enough to everything to walk and not break a sweat! We didn't feel cramped at all in this unit, plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable, unlike many other places I've stayed. The decorations and furnishing are tastefully island-style, the unit is very clean and well cared for. On nights when we didn't feel like crossing the street to the beach for sunset, we enjoyed them on the lanai. It's peaceful with light breezes and plenty of privacy. I'll most definitely be booking here next time!! Oh and FREE PARKING!

Would stay at this complex again

This property was fine: clean and lots of amenities (sunscreen, snorkel gear, some spices, coolers and ice packs, beach umbrella and mat). They had beach chairs but they were both torn and very raggedy. The vacuum didn't work well and there was no dust pan so cleaning was tricky. The pull out bed was HORRIBLE for my 2 teens to sleep on - they had springs poking into them and the bed sagged so bad their backs hurt every morning. We tried putting extra pillows under the foam to even it out. I would only stay here if you are sleeping in the master bedroom. The main bed is very soft. If you like a firm mattress, this one isn't for you. I would stay at this complex again but not in this condo. The property managers were awesome! The location is perfect for the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping all around.

Perfect location, updated look!

My friend and I stayed here for 8 nights for our Maui vacation. Being a corner 1 bedroom condo it was easy to keep cool with the breezes that flowed through the lanai and large living room windows through the two large bedroom windows and door. It was spacious, airy and lots of natural light. I woke up to seeing Mount Haleakela from the bedroom window and can see the West Mountains from the Lanai! The tropical bird sounds really give that tropical feel to vacation. It was only about 20 minutes from the airport, the desk managers are so nice and helpful, and the rental manager was so friendly, surprised us with a welcoming gift, and sent us vacation ideas by email while we were there (I was unexpectedly injured before we arrived in Maui and it limited some of my activities) and they were a perfect fit to our interests (and my limitations...) that we did them all! Both the Queen Bed and Double pull out are very comfy and the kitchen well appointed for all our meals. Neighbors are nice and so many beautiful flowers everywhere. I found it a perfect location for a short drive to Whale Watching and dining at Down the Hatch, and Koa's Seaside Grill in Lahaina, shopping and dining in Paia at Mama's Fish House (do NOT miss this), Paia Fish Market, and Café Des Amis, and taking in the views upcountry at the Alii Lavender Farm and Kula Bistro. It was a perfect location to pick a different beach to walk every morning: Kama'ole I, II, & III, Big Beach, Charley Young, Kalama Beach Park and Waipulani. I would recommend for couples, friends. I will definitely be back.

Great location

Perfect location next to beaches, shops and the main road through Kihei. Place is as described and nothing more. Parking was sometimes a challenge but we always found a spot eventually. A few issues but nothing too bad. We did inform them and were told they'd all be resolved after we left. Beach equipment was great to have but to be fair was very well used, like the entire place.

Fantastic location, quiet condo

We had never stayed in Kihei before despite years of visiting Maui. We loved the location of this condo, right across the street from Kamaole II and super close to Kam I and III. Despite being close to the busier section of Kihei, this condo was very quiet. We never heard anything except birds due to location towards the back of the property. We appreciated the remodeled kitchen and the tiled floors making it easy to cook and to clean up the inevitable sand that came in from fun times at the beach. The only modification we would make to the listing is to specifiy that the air conditioner is in the living room and not 'built in'. Somehow we read that to mean it was throughout. Despite this, the unit had 2 large floor fans that we placed in the bedroom allowing us to cool it down at night. And since the unit is on the corner of the building you could open windows on two sides of the bedroom and living room for a good breeze during the day. We did have an unexpected and unexplained occurance in the middle of the night from the property security guard who thought people in our condo were talking loudly and dancing (!). We had been asleep for hours when this guard came to our door and the unit next to us was vacant. We never had an explanation why this happened and the site manager of the property was abrasive and rude the next day when we inquired why this happened. The people managing this rental at Sunny Maui Vacations were very understanding but couldn't assist us with this issue. In the end, we let it go, as overall, we had really enjoyed this condo and would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay and Kihei Kai Nani and we really enjoyed it. It is very quiet complex, perfect for relaxation. Unit was well equiped and even had all snorkeling gear (snorkles, fins) so you don't have to bring yours like we did. I was worried about cockroaches that some mentioned in previous reviews but did not see any. Found 2 bugs when we got in but after that we didn't see any during our 8 days stay. Just make sure you keep net door closed. Pest control was scheduled for our last day (March 20). This complex has great location right across from beautiful Kamaole II beach. Pool in this complex is bigger than some others that we've seen but we did not use it as we prefer beach environment.

Great location!

Overall we had a wonderful experience in Maui. The condo is located across the street from the beach, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the property were very kind and helpful. We also had a very good experience with the team at Sunny Maui, they were very responsive to all questions and were very helpful. However, we did feel a bit disappointed with the condo itself. First, the cockroaches were everywhere in the kitchen, and it really made it unpleasant to use the dishes, I had to re-wash everything we used. Next, the mattress in the pull out sofa was very old and quite uncomfortable. And lastly, there is a bunch of tiles and wood piled under the bed and is covered in dust, the condo did not feel very clean in general. I wanted to give this condo a higher rating, but I think some of these maintenance and cleaning issues need to be addressed ASAP.

The convenience was wonderful

We’ve never stayed in a condo before but we will again. Our condo had everything that we could think of. The beach is right across the street for watching sunsets and whales breaching. This unit is in the middle of the complex which we really liked because it was quiet but not a long trek to the road. Nice restaurants and mini mall within easy walking distance. Loved it here!

Everyday we watched the sunset at the beach across the street from the complex, it was fantastic! The condo has everything we needed and was very comfortable! Great restaurants, grocery stores, and activities are all within walking distance. We’d love to stay here again!!

Refreshing stay in a perfect location!

This is a lovely condo. It was exactly as described and absolutely spotless! The beds including the pull out sofa were very comfortable and lanai was lovely to sit out on in the mornings. The kitchen had everything we needed! The resort was really quiet and only a short walk to a stunning beach. The beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler we a great plus. Also close to the condo were several tasty restaurants, shops and a couple of bars. Great location to enjoy the sights of Maui. Viktoria and the Sunny Maui Vacations' team couldn't have been more helpful and responded incredibly quickly to our questions Thanks for a great stay!

Great condo, bad ac, very hot, dirty, pullout bed mattress was very old

Loved the location of the condo and the kitchen was great, however, it was dirty, along with the rest of the condo being dirty. The air condition was great as long as you were sitting right in front of it in the living room. The cold air did not reach the bedroom or bathroom which was miserable hot. The pull-out mattress was said to be "upgraded" but wasn't. Very uncomfortable and it needs to be replaced. For the price we paid and for the advertisement given, it was disappointing. But the location and staff were great.

Perfect Maui Vacation Rental

We love this condo! It's probably the best location you could possibly have on all of Maui. Beautiful beaches, tasty restaurants, shops, and everything you need in short walking distance! The island breeze that comes through the comfortable unit makes this the best choice in the complex. The owners and property manager took great care into making sure we had the best possible vacation, amazing people! HIGHLY recommended!
