About this accommodation; our holiday home La Patrie, type farmhouse, is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The House is completely for your own use and is located between the major cities of Tours and Le Mans and is 6 km away from the small town of Chateau du Loir. A few kilometres from this picturesque town lies the small village of Flee. And just outside this village, on the edge of the woods and behind a farmer’s field, our old holiday house ' La Patrie ' is located; The ideal place for a truly relaxing holiday.

The house can be reached by a rural road that passes the house and becomes a hiking trail. The house was built in the 19th century and fully renovated in the original old style (wooden beams, old floor tiles). The furnishings are mostly from local Emmaus shops. The house used to be both the very small living quarters of a farmer's family and the stable where cows and horses were kept. Years ago, the stable and living quarters were combined into one house with three rooms downstairs: a kitchen with a shower and toilet, a dining room with fireplace, and the living room. On the first floor we have a big cosy sleeping loft with three double beds.

Further special presences: two bikes, table tennis, badminton game, large trampoline, BBQ, garden chairs, hammock connected to the apple tree, inflatable pool.

The Loire region is ideal for a holiday, long or brief; Fantastic castles, beautiful river landscapes, vast forests, old picturesque villages, fine wines and great food. And finally also agricultural and forest roads that the makes it a bicycle-and hiking paradise. And the large recreational Lake of Marçon is 3 km cycling distance. So plenty to see, do and enjoy ...

The house has a spacious garden where flower- and fruit plants flourish. If sitting in the garden and reading a book is not for you and you would like to get your hands dirty? Do not feel inhibited! There is always something to do in the garden. In the stable you can find a lawn mower, weed cutters and gardening gloves. In other words, do that you like and what makes you feel relaxed.
