We had a short weekend stay and enjoyed it. Everything was nice and clean and not too far from the center of Asheville. We loved being able to bring our dogs and enjoy the weekend with them!
We enjoyed our stay here. Location was very convenient to get to Asheville. The scenery was very nice. The house was relaxing and comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this house to others. Thank you for a great stay!
Nice home on the side of a mountain. Very quiet area with great views. It was everything as advertised and within convenient proximity of grocery, restaurants, and cities while being remote. Would stay there again.
We absolutely loved our weekend stay. I have never stayed in a rental property that was so thoroughly decorated. You can tell the owners put in a lot of effort and take pride in the property. It felt like home. Checking in was super easy and instructions were very detailed. The owner was incredibly kind and generous when an issue with the AC arose unexpectedly. He was very easy to communicate and work with. We loved our stay and plan to return in the future.
Nice cabin, near Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway
We booked the cabin for a short weekend trip to explore Asheville but also enjoy the fall season within the mountains /blue ridge parkway. The cabin was perfect for what we wanted. Very clean and spacious, close ~25 min to Asheville and 15 min to Weaverville (shopping, grocery stores, restaurants) but also only a few minutes drive away from the blue ridge parkway. The host were very responsive and gave very detailed and easy to follow directions to find and access the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay!
Very clean and neat rental with a great deck. Had a great weekend with hubby and the dogs. Be careful going for a walk, it’s all uphill coming back. 😁Enjoyed listening to the creek and visiting parks along the Parkway and French Broad. Close to everything yet blissfully far away.
The owner is extremely well organized and instruction how to get there and get in were exemplary. We enjoyed our stay and felt literally at home. Weaverville was very close and getting to locations in the area was very easy. We got to the Biltmore and enjoyed Chimney Rock but we’re glad to return to a comfortable home.
You will enjoy the treehouse and it’s privacy and nature setting. The outdoor deck is wonderful.
We had stayed at this same house in years previous to the current owner buying it. If anything, it's maybe even a little better than before. Very private and comfortable location (one of my favorite restaurants is also the closest restaurant to the house, as far as I know .... a short 7 mile drive). The house been updated since we were last there. Very clean, and very well equipped. Kitchen is as complete as you could imagine for a vacation rental home. Jerry was very responsive, quite pleasant and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay!
My husband and son are hiking Appalachian Trail this summer and requested some family time with us when I found out I had a long weekend off. Spent a couple hours searching within a 1 hour radius of the trail and discovered this listing as they allow pets which was a huge draw to us and did not have high pet fees like many other properties. House was soo clean (including the outdoor space/deck/doorways) and very comfortable. Appreciated the ceiling fans, throw blankets in the living room. Plenty of towels provided as well. Kitchen well stocked and even had a few basic spices, sugar, oil, coffee filters, aluminum foil. All soaps, detergents, and basic paper products also plentiful in the home. Host was gracious enough to allow us a bit later check out for us to enjoy another meal before boys went back on the trail for another month and the rest of us headed back to real life! We would definitely stay again if in the area.
Great Property. Enjoyed the views, the space and everything was great. Highly recommend the Wag-Bar for your furry friends as well as Glass Onion, Blue Mountain Pizza, and the All Good Cafe!
The property was clean and in a great location. The owners sent us the check in information ahead of time with directions on finding the property. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved staying here. The location is great, it was about a 22 minute drive to Downtown Asheville and 20 minute drive to a lot of the hikes that we did. The wrap around deck is awesome, and every morning we woke up looking out to the mountains and sunrise from the bed. Gerald is an awesome host, super responsive. The place was clean and had all the cookware that we needed. There wasn’t anyone in the unit below is which sounds pretty common so we had the whole place to ourselves and dogs. Would love to come back!
The home was a great location for where we needed to go (family wedding). We enjoyed our stay and it worked very well since we were brought our pups. Would definitely stay there again. Perfect amount of room for our family of seven.
I took my parents and my brother to Asheville North Carolina for a family vacation and we rented this property for the duration of our stay. It’s a really comfortable, clean and cozy property, Love the decorations in the house as well!! The owner, Mr. Pyle is kind and professional and overall it was just a great experience. I would be renting this place again next time I am in the area and I would recommend it to others as well!
This place is a gem! Myself, my husband and our 12 year old stayed with our English lab. We hiked and popped on the parkway several times which is very easy. Went into Asheville several timesvia route 25. Some great breweries a few miles away in downtown weaverville. If you want quiet and peaceful, this is it! We made kabobs on the grill and amazing views. Best morning coffee on the deck I've had in AGES.
This was the perfect place for our group of 5. We had two teens and 3 adults. There was more than enough space for us. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we could need. The deck is wonderful and it’s such a great area. Convenient to everything. We also had two dogs and brought their crates with us. The bedrooms are large and I had plenty of space to set up both crates in a bedroom and never felt like they aware in the way. Owners were easy to contact and left detailed information/instructions on everything. Would definitely return! Thanks for a great stay!!
