Great location, good flat but note has steps inside flat that aren't mentioned.

I chose that flat for its location, which was excellent with a local supermarket next door but one and lots of restaurants. 2 good sized double bedrooms and nice 2 bathrooms. I had to chase to get details of the flat from the agency as they didn't send through the information as they said they would. I also specifically discussed when booking it that I would have my elderly father with limited mobility staying with me, checked walk in shower in en suite and ability to get mobility scooter into lift etc. At no point did they mention that there were steps in the middle of the flat leading down to the sitting room. This was a real problem for us as there was no handrail either. I was really disappointed as I had thought I had checked everything I could. The flat was reasonably well equipped, but could do with more mugs and glasses, not sure there were enough if you had guests on the sofa bed too. The pillows were appalling and I have let the agency know about those, they absolutely need to be replaced immediately. I wasn't absolutely sure that one of the pillow cases was clean - very suspicious about the way it was creased, it spent the stay on the top of the wardrobe! The final issue was the treasure hunt type instructions that you get in order to get the key. It really doesn't need to be that complicated. Can't you just use the smart looking door entry system to get guests in and out of the front rather than round and round in circles through back streets and then codes for gates, looking for the right bins and lock box codes and back doors and all the confusing stairs??

We had a great stay, it was the perfect base from which to explore the city. Close to local tourist attractions, bars, cafes and restaurants. The flat was clean, spacious and everything we needed it to be for a city break. It was also surprisingly quiet for being so centrally located. We would definelty recommend it to others looking to stay in York.

This is a fantastic location in the centre of York with the added bonus of a gated parking space. Really clean and had everything we needed for a great mini break. Beds were comfortable and apartment was warm and cosy. Check in very easy with detailed instructions

Such a lovely stay.

Great place and ideally situated. Only one issue it's very difficult to find a way to the parking bay due to the bollards in the area, however given its so close to the city centre we were just glad to have free parking offered. It was a lovely stay and we will absolutely be back!

Fantastic location and very comfortable and spacious apartment

Exquisitely located right in the heart of the city. Despite this, very quiet at night time. Apartment was very clean and beautifully appointed. Just one negative: quite uncomfortable and creaky bed in the main bedroom, easily remedied I'm sure.

Perfect location. Large spacious property. Highly recommend.

We visit York annually and decided to stay here as we needed a larger property as we had family over from Canada. The property is spacious , very clean , well stocked with everything you would need ( I don’t cook but the cooker was impressive!) Location perfect. Goodramgate has many shops , bars and restaurants. All main attractions within minutes walk. One tiny bit of feedback would be some hooks on back of bathroom doors to hang towels would be useful. Otherwise 10/10 , thank you .
