A warm welcome is given to guests who stay in our newly renovated spacious studio apartment. Own private entrance and balcony, superb seaside and mountain views, comfortably furnished, king size bed, small separate room with desk perfect for the digital nomad. There is a small chair bed too. There is a kitchen area and en-suite shower Limited to two adults or one Adult and a child. Very close to the beach where surfing lessons can be booked, and surf boards, body boards rented. A supermarket, bakery and restaurants are also close by - a few minutes walk away. Rural village, ideal for walkers, painters, birdwatchers, surfers, swimmers, golfers and those who love the countryside. Approximately three minutes walk from seasonal tidal pool and beach.

As beautiful as the picture and Wonderful hosts !

It's been hard to leave Carolyn and Mark after 3 days at Vivenda Linda : - wonderful site and view from the terrace - close to the center and yet so peaceful - very cosy and well equipped apartment - friendly chats and very useful tips from Carolyn and Mark, including eating at Pipa's, Sunday market at San Antonio da Serra... Highly recommended !

Superbe location et village

Superbe appartement avec magnifique vue sur l'océan et sur Porto da Cruz. Terrasse couverte permettant de profiter de tous les repas dehors. Encore mieux que sur les photos !! Calme assuré !! Tout à proximité à pieds, commerces et piscine magnifique au bord de la mer. Nous avons adoré l'endroit et la location !! Très bien situé pour plein de visites et randonnées. We had a wonderful week in Porto da Cruz. The apartment has a spectacular view on the bay and is very close to the center of the small village. The hosts are super nice and provided very useful tips on activities and restaurants. Thank you!

Wir waren hier insgesamt 7 Tage und waren sehr zufrieden! Super nette, aufgeschlossene und hilfsbereite Vermieter! Eine wunderschöne Aussicht in bester Lage. Der Strand, der Supermarkt, die Surfschool, die Apotheke etc. alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar! Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und bequem eingerichtet und verfügt über alles Notwendige zum täglichen Bedarf! Prima Preisleistungsverhältnis! Absolut zu empfehlen!

This is a lovely, well-equipped apartment which has a spacious balcony with ever-changing views of the sea and the mountains. It’s only a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants of Porto da Cruz and only a short drive from the airport. We had a warm welcome (with Christmas cake!) from Carolyn. Recommended.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Appartement bei Carolyn Davies. Im Appartement ist alles vorhanden, was man für 14 Tage Urlaub benötigt. Den Ausblick vom Balkon haben wir sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist ideal für vielfältige Aktivitäten: Wandern , Baden, Schnorcheln. Auch in Funchal ist man mit dem Auto in einer halben Stunde. Herzlichen Dank an die netten Gastgeber Carolyn und Mark.

Un très bon séjour pour profiter de la mer et de la montagne.

Conforme à la description, pas de mauvaises surprises, appartement bien entretenu. Nous avons apprécié le calme. Quelques chiens et coqs au loin, mais ça fait partie du charme des vacances. Nous avons aussi bien aimé la vue sur la mer et la montagne. Cet appartement et son emplacement étaient parfaits pour les deux randonneurs que nous étions. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. Merci à Carolyn et Mark pour ce séjour, le cadre agréable et la salade du jardin. Nous garderons de bons souvenirs de Madère.

We moved here from England in 2016 having sold our restaurant/accommodation business there, and after extensive renovations opened our villa to guests in 2017. We enjoy meeting new people, and are already welcoming back guests who are returning to the beautiful island of Madeira and our home town of Porto da Cruz

Why they chose this property

This property has stunning view to the sea, town and mountain. It is set on a quiet lane and is approximately three to five minutes walk to the amenities, and beach. The apartment is homely with a large balcony which is partially enclosed so even in inclement weather it is sheltered and lovely to while away the hours watching the changing scenery and taking in the beautiful view,

What makes this property unique

We are ideally placed to visit the whole of the island. Plus we are only approximately fifteen minutes drive from the airport. Porto da Cruz is close to the main roads, and tunnel sections that make travelling around the island easy.
