Fabulous mini break in Olhao

The property is set just back from the main Street. It’s well presented with everything you need for a short break. The roof terrace is fantastic with sun all day but shade if you want it. We would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future. There are numerous restaurants on the main road but we would recommend that you try the ones in the side streets as the service is better and so are the prices!

Gefährliche Treppen

Positiv, die Lage ist zentral, die Kommunikation gut, soweit es keine Probleme gibt. der Kleiderschrank ist groß. Es gibt in der Straße keinen Parkplatz, werden alle von den Anwohnern okkupiert.Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr klein, Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer jeweils um die 8 qm, Bad unter 2 Quadratmeter. Das Geschirr war mäßig sauber, sonst okay.Ein No Go sind die beiden Treppen zum Schlafzimmer und Terrasse. Sie sind total eng, ungleichmäßig und ohne durchgängiges Geländer. Das Foto zeigt die „ bequemere“ untere Treppe. Es ist fast unmöglich einen Koffer hochzutragen. Für einen kleinen Zwanzigjährigen mag es gehen, für ältere und größere Personen wird es echt gefährlich, zumal man sich auch noch den Kopf stößt.Dass dieses Problem in der Beschreibung nicht angegeben ist, ist grob fahrlässig. Ich hätte das Objekt dann nicht gebucht.Die Terrasse soweit schön, die Holzstühle so wackelig, dass man Angst hat sie brechen zusammen. Die Vermieterin wohnt zwei Häuser weiter und kontrolliert von ihrer Terrasse, was die Mieter machen, z.B. wie man die Wäsche aufhängt (ist nicht eindeutig, da es keinen Wäscheständer gibt).Wir hatten vier Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach einer Nacht ausgezogen, da wir befürchteten uns auf der Treppe zu verletzen.Haben es dem Vermieter geschrieben, aber keine Antwort erhalten.Fazit: schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, ungeeignet für ältere Personen, die nicht zum Hochleistungssport neigen.

On ne peut mieux placé

Dans le centre près de la mairie, dans une petite rue ou seuls les riverains passent, le grand calme tout en étant à 200m du bord de mer. L'appartement est petit mais bien equipé il ne manque rien. Betrand le propriétaire étant voisin sa réactio à notre seule demande a té des plus rapides. Bonnes informations à l'arrivée sur les commerces et restaurants les plus proches. Le temps ne nous a pas permis d'apprécier la terrrasse.

Schönes Häuschen in super Lage.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr schön im Zentrum von Olhao. Das Häuschen war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. In der Nähe gibt es viele Cafes und Restaurants.

Parking was not provided, we had to park up against a bldg on the sidewalk. 1bath towel and 1 hand towel for each tenant for one wk. We inquired and were told “you have a washing machine”. The shower didn’t drain well resulting in water flowing out onto the floor. No top sheet on the bed. Some of the glassware and utensils appeared unclean. A positive note;it was a short walk to the Mercado.

Séjour inoubliable dans une charmante petite maison

Un grand merci à Bertrand, notre hôte, pour son accueil amical, sa délicate attention (une bouteille de vin nous attendait) et ses conseils avisés. A Kasa Blanca on se sent comme à la maison. Elle est propre, accueillante, chaleureuse est très bien située. Pas besoin de voiture tout est accessible à pied. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre passage à Olhao et de Bertrand. Nous reviendrons avec une immense joie. J'ai déjà communiqué cette adresse à mes connaissances. Ne pas hésiter !!

Empfehlenswert

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich und auch sehr zentral. Trotzdem gibt es fast kein Autoverkehr auf der Straße, da diese teilweise sehr schmal ist. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und die Verständigung hat gut geklappt. In kurzer Entfernung sind viele gute Restaurants. Olháo ist sehr schön, für uns eine absolute Überraschung. Der Ortskern ist sehr ursprünglich, der neue Apartment und Hotelkomplex ist eher am Rand der Promenade was wir sehr gut fanden. Alles ist sehr nah und man braucht kein Auto. Für uns Perfekt!

Schön für einen Kurzaufenthalt

Auf unserer Rundreise sind wir spontan in Olhao gelandet und haben uns sehr über die Unterkunft gefreut. Ein kleines schönes Haus in einer ruhigen Gasse und trotzdem komplett zentral. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Ein großer Ordner mit Informationen liegt beim Check in bereit. Nette Cafés und Restaurants und eine super Dachterrasse lädt zum sonnenbaden ein. Nur bei der Sauberkeit könnte mehr drauf geachtet werden. Da man am Ende selber putzen muss, muss man sich etwas drauf verlassen das die vorherigen Besucher alles ordentlich hinterlassen. Dies war bei uns nicht so ganz der Fall. Kühlschrank, Küchengeräte wie wasserkocher, kaffeemaschine usw waren leider sehr dreckig. Auch die Schränke und Ablagen könnten etwas abstauben vertragen. Ansonsten haben wir es aber genossen.

Situation en centre ville idéale quand on n a pas de voiture : train et bus sont très pratiques.

Location typique des maisons de pêcheurs bon confort global mais équipement cuisine succinct. Prévoir de réparer l évacuation des eaux usées (absence de siphon, d ou odeurs....)

Property situated in great location for exploring Olhao. Check in was straightforward and Bertrand was easily contactable. He responded to queries promptly. Logement bien situé dans l’Olhão

Schönes ruhig gelegenes Häuschen mitten in der Altstadt

Die Lage des Häuschens ist unschlagbar. Man ist mitten in der Stadt nur zwei Minuten vom Wasser entfernt und wohnt total ruhig. Das Haus ist sehr charmant, gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Schlafzimmer ist schön und hat ein gutes Bett. Das Bad ist gross und hat eine schöne begehbare Dusche. Die Dachterrasse ist genial und schön sonnig. Die Treppe dahin allerdings sehr eng. Wenn man also selbst gekocht hat und oben essen möchte nicht ganz einfach alles dorthin zu jonglieren. Die Küche war recht spärlich eingerichte und leider auch nicht überall sauber. Wir konnten auf dem genialen Fischmarkt nicht widerstehen und haben auch selbst gekocht, aber eigentlich ist das in Olhao nicht so wichtig, denn es gibt genügend tolle Restaurants.Deshalb haben wir das Haus auch trotzdem mit 5 Sternen bewertet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Hübsches Häuschen in der Altstadt

Wir haben ein paar wunderbare Tage in dem schönen Häuschen inmitten der Altstadt von Olhão verbracht. Die Dachterrasse ist super. Alles ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen z.B. Restaurants, Bäckerei, Fähre zu den Stränden. Wir können das hübsche Haus sehr empfehlen.
