We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It’s a lovelly little place in the middle if nowhere. Very quiet, only the sounds of cows in the background. It’s well taken care of. Lot’s of of beautiful hikes in the surrounding and the amazing west coastal path is only a few car minutes away. The bed, shower and kitchen are all fine. We missed two things. That’s a working wifi signal, 4G wasn’t doing much, too remote. So it was not possible to plan a hike, restaurant or some sightseeing in the house or read the newspaper online. We found that very inconfienent. And the other thing were comfortable outdoor chairs to read your book. Thats something i really enjoy on a holliday. Inside the furniture is very comfortable. But overall a pleasant stay!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review of your stay at Lamellyon Roundhouse. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the peace and quiet, the comfort of the cottage, and the wonderful walking opportunities nearby, it truly is a tranquil spot, and we’re glad you were able to make the most of it.
We’re sorry to hear that the mobile signal and Wi-Fi were a source of inconvenience during your stay. While this hasn’t been flagged previously, we completely understand how frustrating that can be. As noted in our booking conditions, mobile phone and 3G/4G/5G coverage does vary throughout Cornwall, and we always recommend guests check with their provider before booking, as signal strength can’t be guaranteed, particularly in more rural areas like this one. That said, we will look into whether any improvements can be made to the Wi-Fi at the property.
Thank you also for your helpful suggestion about outdoor seating, enjoying a good book in the sunshine is one of the joys of a Cornish holiday, and we’ll pass this on to the owner for consideration.
We really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and hope we can welcome you back in the future.
