This is a quiet, self-contained property on a working farm. It is well equipped, with a comfortable bed, and generously heated. We used it as a centre for cycling and walking, as well as visiting Chester and the Staffordshire Hoard in Stoke, for which it is ideally situated. Everything was as described, and we would happily recommend to others with similar interests.
Was ok, few issues, Not secure for dogs needed a gate on the Front.. Kept having the clean the dog mess from the farm dog , no real privacy if you sat out oh and the other plug didn’t fit the bath
Other then that
You stay on the farm you can see and feed the animals but the animals didn’t wake you in the morning it was not noisy at all the owner left you to your own devices but were on hand if you needed them they were very welcoming with homemade cakes. The house was clean but you are on a farm so expect to have some cobwebs. Local it was very relaxing you need to travel out to towns nearby
Welcomed with tea, cookies and, always a plus for us, a jug of milk in the fridge. Comfy beds, clean and convenient bathrooms and kitchen. Everything we needed for the quiet break we needed. It was just the two of us on this occasion, but would thoroughly recommend it for a family holiday. The normal life of the farm went on around us. Thank you, we really appreciated out two weeks.
