About this property
BOAR'S HOUSE, with a garden in Penzance
This converted barn is situated near the Cornish town of Penzance and can sleep three people in two bedrooms
Boars House is a character-filled barn conversion situated down a winding lane in the Cornish countryside just outside of Penzance. The barn sleeps three people and has one double bedroom and one single bedroom. There is a shower room, a kitchen and sitting area with French doors leading to the patio. Outside there is seating on the patio and a garden area. Peace and tranquillity but just a few miles from Penzance with amenities and beaches. Boars House is an excellent choice for a family or for a couple looking for a romantic countryside holiday.
Amenities: Underfloor air source heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer. TV, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power included in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking on gravel behind property. South facing patio and garden area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles. Beach 5 miles. Penzance 3 miles
Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Town: The most westerly major town in Cornwall, Penzance faces the shores of Mount’s Bay, the famous St Michael's Mount rising from the sea in its centre. A bustling harbour town with quaint streets lined with shops and cafes and a promenade stretching towards the fishing port of Newlyn. Known for its mild year-round climate, palm trees and tropical plants thrive here and are best viewed at the beautiful sub tropical Morrab Gardens, close to the town centre. Popular with photographers, the art deco Jubilee seawater pool should not be missed for a dip in summer months. Home to the Georgian Theatre built around 1786, the theatre is thought to be one of the oldest Georgian theatres in the country. Golowan Festival is held in Penzance each June – a ten day festival with carnivals, music and dance. Penzance is an ideal base for exploring the far south west of Cornwall, with St Ives and Carbis bay a short drive.
