APPLE COTTAGE, family friendly, country holiday cottage in Crediton
This country cottage is near the village of Colebrooke in Mid Devon and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Apple Cottage stands overlooking a pretty cider orchard, alongside its sister cottage Plum in private grounds, just outside the villages of Colebrook and slightly larger Coleford in central Mid Devon. A rural location, peaceful and picturesque and perfect for exploring by rail, bike or on foot with the station nearby at Yeoford. Apple cottage has been transformed from what was once an old cob and stone barn into a beautiful Eco-friendly cottage, tastefully renovated with modern country cottage interior. A welcoming open plan living space is warmed not only by Eco friendly heating central and underfloor heating, but also with a wood burning stove, making it an ideal out of season rural escape. There are two first floor bedrooms offering versatile sleeping and a modern shower room. Outside a little area with table and chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and parking is opposite. A trip into the nearby market town of Crediton will take less than 7 minutes where you will find a good selection of shops, pubs and supermarkets. The village pub at Coleford, The New Inn can be reached on foot in 20 mins. A wonderful base for exploring this beautiful unspoiled region of Devon, Apple Cottage is a wonderful choice for all seasons.
