Terrific tropical getaway for rent!! 2 Bedroom 3 full bath canal front home with large in ground pool, hot tub and 60 feet of dock age! Located in desirable Doctor's Arm neighborhood, this house is located just steps from the famous No Name Pub on Big Pine Key. The boating cannel is just 200 yards to open water onto Bogie Channel and Spanish Harbor Channel. Less than a mile from the No Name Bridge, so there is access to fantastic fishing within walking distance even if you don't have a boat!! Great opportunity for the fishermen to fish while others enjoy the day by the pool and hot tub! The pool has a heater! Warm swimming in the cooler winter months, yet always refreshing in the hot Keys summers. Pool and hot tub are professionally maintained on a weekly basis. The house is a short drive to Bahia Honda State Park, which is always listed as one of the top ten beaches in Florida and is home to some of the best fishing around!! The home is just 2 miles to shopping and 30 miles to Key West!! Enjoy the convenience of shopping and the quaint amenities of Big Pine Key - including grocery shopping - without ever going out onto US Route 1! My husband and I have been doing month-long rental homes in the Keys in the fall for last 5-6 years, and we believe we’ve found our favorite spot. This house on Big Pine Key in Doctor’s Arm on Minorca Drive was the perfect location for us! It was a short boat ride through the neighborhood canals to get to where we wanted to be…Bogey Channel. The interior of the house was clean and cozy, and looked as if it had been remodeled in the last couple of years. The living room furniture and kitchen cabinets could benefit from an update/facelift. The corner toilet in the master bath was practical and cute, however, the corner shower was a pretty tight fit. We loved the pool and spa…It was such a wonderful treat to rinse off and hop in the pool after a couple of hours lobstering. An added bonus for us was the refrigerator/freezer and bait freezer in the downstairs storage area, and the shaded fish/lobster cleaning station. We are so grateful for our host, Jen…She was absolutely fabulous!…She was very personable, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to the few questions we had for her. We’d love to come back!
