About this property

OceanSong on Plum Island

OceanSong is an upscale beach house on the south end of Plum Island. It’s just 140 steps to an uncrowded, sandy ocean beach and a five minute walk to the National Wildlife Refuge. Island restaurants are in walking distance and Newburyport’s quaint shops, restaurants and nightlife are four miles away.

The beach house has walkout sliders to decks on three sides and an outside shower. The interior is set in a white and natural oak motif with hardwood floors, tide clock, charts and recessed lighting to create an upscale, beachy feel. The main level features an open living room and dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths and a sunroom. The second level sports a loft and bedroom with skylights. The third level is a lookout.

OceanSong is designed as a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a beach vacation. It comes with everything from linens to wine glasses. It’s great for a family or couples. Come and have a great vacation!

Our January stay was more than expected. The house was warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with more than most. There was nothing we thought we needed that was not available (from cooking to relaxing). We were fortunate to be able to take a walk on the beach. The access was just across the street. I woud definitely stay at the Ocean Song when visiting family in the area again. Hopefully in warmer weather!

The host welcomed us upon arrival. He had given us a tour last year so no neesd for another one. The home is very comfortable and warm. There are so many items there, you should check it out before you shop.It is very clean!

Very comfortable. Short walk to beach and very close to Parker River Wildlife Refuge. Well stocked kitchen and extremely helfpul and friendly owner. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at OceanSong over a long weekend in October. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Richard the host greeted us on arrival and gave us a thorough overview of the house and local area. house is close to the beach and within walking distance of the National Wildlife Refuge. The drive into Newburyport only takes 15 minutes so this really is the perfect home base for a stay on Plum Island. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day.

OceanSong will only accommodate up to six (6) guests (adults+children). Elisabeth’s review suggests 7 guests stayed. I’m very disappointed. On arrival we discussed, and Elisabeth confirmed, only 6 guests. I will not rent to Elisabeth again.

A lovely weekend
