Family Friendly True Log Home experience
Experience a genuine ski lodge feel in this ski-in chalet log cabin located on one of the largest properties in Sun Peaks village, just steps from the main chairlift area and vibrancy of 'Canada's second largest Alpine Village', this main floor entry home exudes special warmth and character unique to log construction. You will be drawn into the bright, open living area featuring hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, large kitchen and eatery bar, floor-to-ceiling cozy, river rock gas fireplace and soaring windows where you can soak in beautiful mountain views.
You will enjoy the 3 levels with 3 bedrooms and loft; on the lower floor common bunk area and a two piece bathroom, perfect for sleeping up to 6 children.
The multiple sundecks and expansive veranda provide a true tranquil setting for family and guests. After a day of skiing, mountain biking, golfing or hiking, relax in the private outdoor hot tub, nestled in the trees with a view to the stars.

Our cabin is in a residential area with full time home owners in the area that must be respected, our cabin is designed to attract families with children
The lodge features a seven person hot tub, 2 1/2 bathrooms, full kitchen with jenn-air stove, laundry facilities, linen and towels, gas fireplace, high speed internet, blue ray player, stereo.
This chalet is for mature groups and families only; this is not a party house
• Full Bathroom on the upper floor with two queen sized beds (two bedrooms)
• Full Bathroom on the main Floor with one bedroom (one queen-sized bed)
• 2 piece bathroom on the lower floor bunk area
• Walk to village
• High speed internet, 58 inch TV in loft area,

• 5 minute walk on road and then the skis are on
• Four Season activities; downhill & skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing

• 30-40 minute drive to Kamloops for all major shopping, airport
Note the House also has a second fully self-contained suite that is rented to long-term tenants, they do not share any facilities or entrances with the main house and do not have access to the hot tub which is in a different area of the property

We currently live down on the coast of British Columbia in the South Surrey area. We had been looking for vacation property for years, which would give our family a chance to create special memories and experiences. We looked in all the areas of this beautiful province, and our hearts and emotions always pulled us back to this area. Here we have a full four season area where we can enjoy outdoor activities all year round. We have the intimacy of the village with Kamloops and all of its services a short easy drive. The idea of a log home has always excited our family, but we needed to find one that was bright, open, and made you feel welcome. This home lets you relax instantly, and can be enjoyed comfortably with all sizes of friends and families.
Why they chose this property
Location, our goal was to find a property 3-4 hours from Vancouver that was active and vibrant all year round with infrastructure in place that would allow us to enjoy the area. Really as beautiful as British Columbia is, we kept coming back to this area.
When we found this property for sale, we found that it gave us the immediate feeling of a place where family gatherings would be special. Close to the village, and ski lift, yet still private. The house is bright and open with a lot of natural light. The decks are great for sitting around listening to some tunes, reading a book, and for just relaxing. The summer activities on the mountain were important for us as we did not want a one season (winter) property. The golf course up top (highest elevation in BC) biking, hiking, fishing in the area ensured us that it was a place we could enjoy all year round.
