Fantastic house in the perfect location for the beach. In a nice quiet road with parking and friendly neighbours. Spotlessly clean and everything you need provided. Lovely conservatory and outdoor space with table a chairs and good sized bbq. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
Very nice quiet clean house walking distance from the beach . Only down side, no wifi so could only watch terrestrial tv although there was a dvd player and some tapes. We would stay again.
The property was lovely, and in the perfect location, only 3 minutes down the road and we were at a beautiful Sandy beach. The hosts communication was amazing, and very helpful. We would love to stay here again!
We had a lovely week in Camber. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient being only a few minutes from the lovely sandy beach at Camber.
Helpful hosts and very close to the beach. You can access the dunes more or less down the same road as where the house is suitated. Lovely conservatory and relaxing home in general. Would highly recommend.

Thanks Jessica, glad you enjoyed your stay. Come again when you need a break.
Views of land dunes from the bedroom window, such an ideal and perfect location. This home has it all, we felt relaxed and content. We spent 3 days here, Camber and Rye are favourites of ours. Having bikes included in our stay was great for us and our teenagers to get to Rye through the sheep fields on cycle paths. We went to Dungeness and climbed to the top of the old lighthouse. We had an amazing Sunday roast at The Globe Inn Marsh pub in Rye. 100% recommend this accommodation and would stay here again. Thanks Nina.

A lovely little house in a superb location - had a wonderful short break!
We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 year old and had the perfect mini break. The proximity of the house to the beach made holidaying with a small child very easy. The house was very comfortable and homely and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. They were keen to meet our needs and were always available to help. We hope to return soon!
Fantastic short stay in Camber. Location was ideal for the beach - 5 mins walk. Property was lovely, and great for our small family.
5 min drive to Rye with great amenities, plcaes to eat, and historic places to visit.
Looking forward to our next stay in Camber. Only complaint is the local pub (The Owl) does not allow under 14s so we could not visit. Other than that a great stay.
Thank you to Nina and her husband for a lovely stay in Camber. From the minute we booked the communication was perfect. The house is perfect for a stay near the beach (5 min walk) and is like home for home because it was so well stocked. Nina and her husband greeted us upon arrival and were so friendly and flexible. This lovely home gave us all we needed for a long weekend getaway. Thank you, we would love to come back!
We took our grand children over half term and had a lovely time. The house was perfect for us and the children had great fun - plenty of games, beach toys and especially BIG kites! They also enjoyed the DVD library and learning how to use the player. New to them and very exciting. The location is perfect, for the beach and the playground. Overall, a real adventure was had by all of us.

Very pleased to hear you had a lovely time in Camber. And happy that your grandchildren enjoyed the games and the (somewhat old-fashioned) DVD library. It's good to be open to new and old ideas!
Also, thanks very much for leaving the house so neat and tidy – it's much appreciated.
We came for a restful time in this beautiful part of the UK and we were not disappointed. We had wonderful June weather for gorgeous beach walks just outside our front door. Lovely sandy beaches stretched in both directions as we crossed the sand dunes. Leisurely walks during the day and especially in the evening sun were a treat. Days out the the Romney, Hythe, and Dymchurch Railway and Bodium Castle were lovely. And closer, the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, and Rye itself, with its fantastic restaurants, were magnificent. We had good communication with Nina, the properties owner, who was welcoming, and enjoyed this well-equipped property.
We are a family of 4 with a 14yr old and a 12yr old.
The house has been so tastefully decorated and it was a great base for our holiday. The fact that the hosts provide bikes, windbreaks, DVD’s and games is great. It is also genuinely 5 minutes to the beach!
There is no wifi which is restrictive if you need to work or have teens who want their own time after a full on family day and I think the price increase to cover this is easily justified. There is however, digital TV so lots to watch after a day out and about if needed.
There is no washing machine, which we knew in advance, again a pain but there is a laundrette less than 2 mins walk so again not a deal breaker.
The area is in desperate need of investment from a facilities point of view but the houses are well kept and the beach is beautiful and as I say the house was a great base.
Hastings is just 30 mins away which is great for rainy days (Smugglers Adventure and the Aquarium) and has a lovely old town to walk through as well as your usual sea side amusements, Bodium Castle is also nearby. Rye is beautiful and also has the local Jempson’s which has everything you can need and more, but is a little pricy in comparison to your usual supermarket.
If you want rock pools, Pett Level
Beach is the place but go at low tide.
Keeping closer to home you MUST go to The Owl, less than 5 minutes walk from the house and the food and service is amazing.
We had a bit of contact with the host, Nina, both before and during our stay and she was responsive and informative each time.

Thanks for your comments Anna, glad you had a good time. Shame about our summer weather! However, as you point out, there are lots on things to do and places to visit in East Sussex, whatever the weather.
Re wifi, this is our holiday home and currently we don't feel the need for it (especially with smart phones). More to the point, we don't advertise that we have it. While you pointed out downsides of not having it, equally there are benefits from taking a break from all things digital.
Similarly, with a fantastic laundrette on our doorstep we don't feel the need for a washing machine.
Tolle Ausstattung, nette Vermieter.
Einzig W-LAN fehlt ;-)
Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieter
We had a lovely stay as the property is very clean and has everything we needed for a great holiday. Having an allocated parking space was very useful as all the car parks in Camber were full due to the very hot weather. It’s within a few minutes of the beach but in a quieter road. We would definitely stay again.
