Ground level apartment in a grand historic home on famous Gaston Street. Right at the top of Forsyth Park. Gated front courtyard perfect for cocktails.

This garden apartment is 1300 square feet! It has a private kitchen, large living room with pullout sofa, and a bedroom with new King size bed and a wicker daybed.



Parking is on-street and spots are easy to find at this location. Meters are free nights and weekends in this part of Downtown. Meters must be paid during the day on weekdays and can be paid via Park Savannah app or with a 'Visitors Parking Day Pass' available to cover all day/night parking for travelers. Check with the City of Savannah Parking Services for pricing on the Day Pass. This can be purchased from the Visitors Center on MLK, the Parking Services office on Bryan.

Within one block there is non-metered parking for those who prefer not to buy the pass. Shared laundry is available for your convenience right outside your back door in the owner's utility room.

Overall good I would stay again, I would not stay if my wife has to wash dishes the day we leave I believe paying the amount I paid plus cleaning fees my wife would not have to wash dishes the day we travel

The cleaning fee covers a person coming at checkout and laundering all linens, vacuuming and cleaning toilet, etc sanitizing surfaces. These things are required after every guest so it is easy to set the payment to the cleaner based on these duties. It is not simple include what could be unlimited dirty dishes because every guest is different and some would leave a lot of pots/pans etc piled in the sink which would be a higher cleaning fee. Most people would not do that but some would (like the person who wrote this review). And some guests barely use the kitchen at all since Savannah has so many restaurants. It is best that we simply say the housekeeping setup fee does not include washing dirty dishes due to the variable nature of that chore. We do say guests can leave washed dishes out for us to put away. Many guests do leave a few items like their used coffee cups for the housekeeper to deal with, and we never charge them or rate them poorly for that. We just cannot have an open ended free for all of dirty dishes all piled up left behind at checkout.

This is a cute, eclectic, charming place. It is in a very convenient location that is walkable distance to most things/dining in the historic district. My only negative comment would be the old, musty smell when first entering, but I guess that’s to be expected for such an old building.

This place was really great for my fiance and Is getaway to Savannah. It was in a perfect location within a block to Forsyth Park and about a 25 min walk to the river. Easy check in and out processes. We would definitely come back!
