Located across the street from the beach and beach access- be on the sand in less than 60 seconds!

4 bedrooms, 4 baths, sleeps 10 (beds for 8 + sofabed)

This southern part of the island location has streets that are only 3 deep, compared to most of the island where streets are 8-12 deep, so the beaches are much less crowded

Several restaurants and Kure Beach Pier/park are only 4 short blocks away, an easy walk and even easier bike ride

Ride bikes to Fort Fisher Aquarium or all of Carolina Beach’s retail attractions

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Strip beds and place linens piled on the floor in front of the laundry closet on the top level. Please only strip the sheets, not the mattress protectors and only what was used).
Please be sure all lights, fans, TVs and suite AC are off.
Sign out of any streaming services.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Lovely home! My family loved the different levels where could be together but also be together in the main area. Well stocked kitchen and the short walk to the beach was amazing. Would 100% do Kure Me Away again. Loved it!

Family vacay

One street over from the beach. Very clean. Plenty of room for my kids and grandkids to have a great time together. Enough parking for 2 sedans and an SUV. The bottom bedroom is separated like a mother inlaw suite, which my DIL loved. Would stay again if parking could accommodate us. It was a great time.

This is our 3rd time staying at this condo.

We love it here. Super close to beach. We walked to dinner, playground and pier. Super safe. Close to aquarium and the ferry. It’s just perfect for our family.

The check-in procedure was easy, liked how we could change the door code for the week so its easier to remember. Lots of room, lots of deck space, close to beach, big tvs, plenty of dinnerwear, pots, pans, crockpot, pancake griddle, etc. Only bad part is the beds are VERY hard and everyone's backs hurt after a night of sleep. And we are pretty sure the bedding was NOT washed, or maybe it wasnt dried well, and smelled musty? But, the person in the basement bedroom said they saw drool marks on their sheets, so they washed them right away vefore sleeping that night. (But, that was pretty easily fixed. ) I wish there was more toilet paper / paper towel / garbage bags too, as we ran out before our last day - but maybe thats something we were supposed to bring? ( I guess I'm not sure?) Still its a pretty nice place!

We are from Iowa we all had a wonderful time and the views of the ocean are beautiful and could even watch the fireworks from then master bedroom deck. Beautiful home, beautiful place to visit and relax and just be all together.

Annual family beach trip!

Perfect location! Quick walk to beach approx I block back. We loved the ability to ride bikes (already at the rental) to local restaurants. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate us! 3 cars fit in the driveway easily. We would definitely book here again!

Great location and house

This is our second stay at this location. The house works well with 3 bedrooms and baths that can be used for 3 couples of my family. We love the location within Kure Beach and the great proximity to the beach and walking distance to coffee shop and restaurants, We had an issue with the bathroom upon arrival, but the owners were very responsive and quick to have it addressed. We would stay here again!

Kure Me Away is fantastic

We had an amazing time at Kure Me Away. We were celebrating our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and had 3 generations staying at this great beach house. Plenty of room for the whole family. We loved the location right across from the beach access and in walking distance to the pier. We also loved the little back yard and had the whole family out there for a low country boil...great time!

Why they chose this property

Kure Beach offers something special. Best mix of uncrowded beaches and small beach town feel, yet close enough to plenty of attractions if you should crave them. The island traffic is light and beaches are uncrowded compared to the more well known beaches in NC/SC. We like how our house is located on a quiet street and short walk to restaurants and the pier and how the beach access point is right across the street.

What makes this property unique

We love the relaxing environment and glimpses of the beach from our decks. The main master bedroom has the same king size memory foam mattress we use at home. Granite counters, flat-screen TVs with DVRs, and leather couches await you, as well as a garage packed with beach chairs, stroller, and bikes! We also love that we are only about 30 more steps from the beach than our oceanfront neighbors but at almost half the price... Savings we pass on to our family, friends, and guests like you...
