Secluded log cabin tucked back in the woods, yet only walking distance away from the Henry's Fork of the Snake River and located on an acre of heavily forested pine trees. This area is home to some of the best fly fishing or just relaxing and floating on the river. Located in the area of the famous Mack's Inn of Island Park. Cabin has large picture windows to bring the beautiful forest atmosphere indoors. Sit around the beautiful stone fireplace and enjoy the warmth and peacefulness this cabin provides or sit on the covered trek decks with the fresh smell of the pines. 5 baths and 7 bedrooms.

The location is great for visiting both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, and cooking equipment. There is a washer and dryer on each floor. There is plenty of space so people can be together or separate easily. There is a place nearby to rent canoes, kayaks and rafts for going down the small river.

Moose Hoose was the perfect place for our entire family of 19 to stay for a week. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the tv and game area upstairs. The large kitchen made it easy to prepare food. It is in close to proximity to West Yellowstone, Macks Inn, Upper Mesa Falls, and the Coffee Pot Trail. Mike gave us lots of helpful information up front and was very responsive with any needs we had during the week. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. It had everything you could possibly need or want and then some. It was everything the pictures and descriptions showed. Mike was such a great host and also helped with ideas for local exploring and Yellowstone. It was 20 minutes from the entrance of Yellowstone just as described. I couldn’t be happier with this cabin! I would highly recommend.

We had a 5-day family reunion at Moose Hoose with 27 people. Everyone loved the home. I appreciated the extra blowup mattresses. There were plenty of towels, seating, and loved finding the game cabinet. We enjoyed the fire pit on two of the nights. It was an easy, beautiful drive into West Yellowstone. Thank you for your beautiful home!

Great Spot for Our Large Group!

We had a great time staying here for a family reunion! Everyone was comfortable. We loved the location, walkable to the river and a couple places to eat. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the rest of the house. All we had to do was show up and enjoy.

Yellowstone family adventure

That cabin was very spacious, well kept sand felt like home. Is was within driving distance to the park. It was close to big springs, for floating the river. I would recommend staying here for you family’s vacation.

Great place for a large family gathering

We have stayed at this cabin twice now. It is a beautiful place. It has easily become our favorite place to be over Christmas! It does need some maintenance and deep cleaning done but beside that we love the cabin!

Plenty of room

This property was home to our family of 26 for a lovely stay of 4 nights. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and have fun. We enjoyed the long back porch for morning and evening visiting and the kids loved the upstairs game activities. Very close to to the West entrance of Yellowstone.

Mike was so kind to help us print a form for Yellowstone. He answered texts and calls in a timely manner. We will probably stay here again. Perfect for family reunions and very clean.
