Casares Village has been voted the third most beautiful village in the whole of Spain. It is simply spectacular and uniquely unspoiled, making it one of the last places you can really experience the Magic of Andalusia.

Staying in Casa Camachas in Casares Village is a time you will never regret.

Just imagine the warm evenings gently lit by the golden street lights and mountain sunset. You sit on your private roof garden enjoying a glass of the complementary wine and smell your dinner cooking to perfection on the barbecue. The soft sounds of the village entice you to join the locals for a drink in the magical Plaza de España. What will tomorrow bring? There are so many unique experiences and sights in Casares to choose from.

In the morning each sip of your fresh coffee tastes even better as you admire the eagles soaring majestically over head. The village is now waking up to buy their locally baked bread just as they have done for centuries. Conveniently located only a few steps from the local shops and restaurants with an attached private garage for a small family car, Casa Camachas is the place to just relax and soak in the Andalucían Lifestyle or get active on the famous hikes and one-off experiences.

The surrounding area is as breathtaking as the village is charming with protected mountains and green valleys as far as the eye can see. As well as your own private pool at the property there is also an impressive and excellently maintained outdoor swimming pool in the village that is open during July and August. Great beaches with their traditional beach bars and restaurants are only 15 min away by car.

Casa Camachas is about experiencing the things that should never be forgotten and we know that you will want to come back; everyone does! It’s the only way to experience it all!

Absolutely lovely apartment and location!
We had a lovely stay in Casares and it was a wonderful base to experience the beach and see Andalucia. The Pask's gracious hospitality is reflected in the very clean and well-appointed apartment. We lacked nothing in the kitchen and especially enjoyed making fresh orange juice to go with our coffee each morning. The bedrooms remained cool throughout the day and we can imagine the air conditioners would be very helpful in the heat of the summer. The apartment is far enough away from the beach bustle to provide a respite from crowds but close enough to be at the beach in 15 minutes. A small market, grocery, and bakery are within 5 minutes walk and larger groceries are also reachable by car within 15 minutes. We especially enjoyed Playa Alcaidesa, enough to spend three days there and the weather was very cooperative. A highlight for us was the rooftop terrace (the view is amazing!) with its relaxing seating area and the grill and dining table.

Really lovely property, very spacious, all spick and span. Warm welcome from the owners. Casares is charming with many excellent viewpoints and classic narrow streets. About half an hour to the coast but Ronda, Cadiz and several other key must-sees are within day trip driving distance. Highly recommended!!

Casares
Casares is a beautiful white washed Andalusian village. It is so pretty. The villa is a short walk from the square where there are a few bars and a couple of lovely restaurants. The villa itself was perfect. Daniel met us and showed us round with his wife, Leanne. Nothing was left unthought of, the villa had everything we needed for a great holiday. It was really clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was great for the kids and mostly shady which was welcome during the hottest part of the day. The roof terrace was a particular highlight and we sat watching the birds of prey circling above whilst cooking on the gas BBQ and relaxing. There was also a 'Fiera' on during our stay where there was live music, fair rides and street food. It was really busy and so lovely to soak up the atmosphere. Casares is beautiful place and gave us a real taste of Spanish life. Locals are very friendly too. We absolutely hope to be back again!

My husband and I were both fortunate enough to have experienced life in Spain while growing up and so as soon as we married we knew that it is where we would want to raise our family.
After falling immediately in love with the village of Casares, and the little ruined village house for sale that we had come to see, we started a renovation project that after 10 years saw our two boys born as "Casareñans".

Why they chose this property

When we first saw the property it had been divided into two small homes that had long since been left empty and neglected. Why would something with so much history and charm be left with only the elements to shape its future we thought? The longer we looked at its unkept roof and droopy windows the more it seemed to look back at us, as if asking us for a little faith. Hundreds of years of memories bore heavy on its tired walls, could this young english couple really be the ones to give it the strength to bear many more wonderful memories to come?.. Well, that's the romantic reason we bought a delapidated rustic townhouse in the beautiful “white village” of Casares; the other reason is that, fortunately for us, it was also the only property we could afford!

What makes this property unique

The property has its own private garage connected to the house, and although Casares has free multi story parking a few min walk away, having a guaranteed space is priceless.
