Wonderful older home in a quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown and I-90. Very well maintained and spotless! Would be perfect with upgraded pillows on the beds.
We loved this house! It was super clean, tons of old house character with all the built ins, quiet neighborhood, and the creek view was spectacular! Would stay here again.

Thanks, Casi. You were phenomenal guests! You took great care of our little spot; we greatly appreciate it!
Great location, the scenery and wildlife was beautiful. Also very short drives to get groceries, going on day trips, and out to eat. Super comfortable beds, and cozy overall home. The back patio was just perfect.
Great neighborhood, river in the back yard, deer in the mornings and evenings around, comfortable beds, and close to town, yet in the country. Perfect stay
We were visiting our daughter (UM) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting, the house was perfect (loved the beds and pillows), and proximity to everything couldn’t be beat.
We’ll definitely be back.
Right in the middle of Rattlesnake canyon with lots of walking/ hiking and opportunities, and only a short drive, or walk or ride to downtown.
Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed the sound of the river while we ate on the back patio. The water pressure in the showers was strong which is out of the ordinary for most houses we've rented. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and close to pretty campus.
The location of this home was perfect for us. It was an easy drive to the University and grocery store. A bonus was the beautiful setting and access to the trailhead for the walking path by the river and through the woods. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Our stay at this remarkable property was a dream come true!! The check-in was simple and straight forward. The house was immaculately clean. The kitchen was completely stocked and everything we needed was there. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Best of all though was the location. It was so peaceful sitting in the backyard right along the river, listening to the sounds of flowing water and birds. And as if that were not enough, every morning and every evening we were so delighted to watch groups of deer walking by. There were walking trails right up the street. Honesty, there was absolutely nothing lacking and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Julie, you are an excellent host!!
The house had everything needed and more for a great stay. The location is great and it felt like home, the owners communicated quickly with any questions and we would highly recommend this house to any friends or family for future stays.

John, It was a pleasure. We hope to have you back!
We had the best weekend staying at Jeff and Julie’s VRBO. Lots of room for 4 ladies and the place was clean and cozy. The backyard was so pretty with the creek flowing past! Autumn in Missoula did not disappoint.

Beautiful location right on the creek. The rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hosts are super helpful and accommodating. It was a perfect place to stay for our fishing trip. Thank you so much!
The first impression was this was going to be relaxing! The home is in a very quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed and it was a very comfortable. The creek in the backyard was amazing! Regina and her family were wonderful guests! They treated our home as though it was their own, taking very good care of it! It was a pleasure to host you. Many thanks! Julie and Jeff
The property's location was convenient. The property was clean and all equipment worked. The owner's were helpful and friendly. On the more negative side, the house was not as "up to date" as previous Verbo's I have stayed at. Also, neither side of the garage open for parking a car out of the weather. In general, however, no major complaints.
The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable with down pillows and comforters. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the creek running behind the back yard was beautiful. Only issue for me was the older, low to the floor toilets. Difficult for tall people with knee problems.
Overall a perfect 4 night stay!
Location! Quiet, friendly street, safe location close to town, and literally ON Rattlesnake Creek! (Insert pic of me with a glass of wine in the evening sitting by the creek.). Speaking of wine, the glasses were huge! It’s like the know me! Our stay was awesome as the house suited all of our needs.

Thanks Leslie! I hope the fishing were biting for you too!! Be well!
The property was as described and in good condition. Move in process was easy.
At the time of move out the host put an erroneous charge on our account for tens of thousands of dollars, claiming damages. Unfortunately most of these damages were unsubstantiated and the host was unable to provide sufficient documentation of the charges.
Admittedly there was some trash left behind and a broken lamp which we are happy to pay for but the amount they charged is excessive. We also paid for the insurance which the host can claim against but they continue to hold fast on their egregious charges with no negotiation.
Several weeks after move out the charge still remains unsubstantiated and on account.
VRBO Customer support has been assisting in getting the charges down to a reasonable amount.

This has been the worst of experiences we have had in all our years with VRBO. First to set the facts straight, Almaraz represented herself as a real estate professional representing high net worth individuals. And with airs rented the property for an extra day under the pretense of doing a property inspection to ensure it met with her clients expectations. So to be fair to her she has never seen the property nor did she witness the deplorable state it was left. To begin with the tenants destroyed every towel, hand towel and face clothes left for their use, 4 sets in all. Broke a lamp, stained curtains and a slip cover for our sofa. left dirty dishes in the cupboards, over twenty bags of garbage, two very large boxes of empty liquor bottles and some sort of lighting equipment for photography. It took our cleaners 3 days to restore cleanliness to our property after these so called high net worth individuals vacated. We contracted the rental of our property to 2 individuals that reportedly had a small well trained dog. This is an exception for us we typically do not permit dogs for obvious reasons. The dog left paw and nose prints all over a front window that could have only been made if it was on top of a kitchen table, so much for well trained. Every bed in the house was slept in. The bath tubs were left with what appeared to be urine and blood residue. Fortunately the shower curtains came clean after removing and washing. One of the Kitchen cabinets were discolored and will require repainting. Almaraz tries to fain the victim. But the reality is that we provided her pictures and itemized lists of expenses 3 days after her clients vacated at her insistence and knowing that the number would not be finalized. She immediately dismissed our 14 pages of documentation acknowledging a lamp was broken and demanded we resubmit a lower bill. The initial demand for payment was excessive but was intended to be a placeholder and was necessary to put everyone on notice that damage was done. That initial balance has since been adjusted as new information has been received. To suggest that we somehow are obligated to "Negotiate" is absurd, why would I negotiate. Almaraz wants me to absorb the expense bore from the bad behavior of her clients that has resulted in real damage to our property and real costs to us in restoring our house to the condition it was in prior to their occupancy.

We used to love this house but beware...
I'm conflicted because in spite of what the owner wrongly accused us of after checkout, and in spite of several issues with this place, I still want to think fondly of this place.
I've stayed there before and greatly enjoyed it. This time around, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth. The location next to the creek and a trailhead is hard to beat. It gives you an overall sense of peace and well being which makes you forgive the fact that the Internet goes down for 5 minutes at a time about 8 times a day (there was also a one time wifi issue but Jeff took care of it promptly), the master sink bedroom is backed up, there's almost no water pressure in the kitchen sink, and the kitchen and bathrooms are not in the best of shape. This place has so much charm, it makes up for these issues.
What doesn't work though, is when after you check out the owner accuses your (14 yo) child of having urinated all over a mattress, and opens an insurance claim for a full mattress replacement. Way to ruin someone's someone's vacation. The feeling of peace and well being we paid for... instantly gone. Not a good experience. I assume the owner didn't actually see the alleged damage with their own eyes but it's something a cleaning crew stated. Not sure what they actually saw but We've asked for evidence and are still waiting. The claim is preposterous, and we've notified the insurance company it's fraudulent.

We are pleased that you have enjoyed your stays. While it is true that we did not see with our own eyes the issue at hand, we have a professional cleaner that did. The situation was far worse than what you suggested as a plausible explanation that being a wet towel being left on the bed. The mattress pad was wet thru and approximately a quarter of the mattress was saturated. We did not have the mattress lab tested but as it dried it turned yellow in color much like a urine stain does. Our interest in reaching out to you with notification of what was reported to us, was a simple gesture of courtesy. Your visceral response was a bit disturbing and your threats to “ruin us” and “sue us” has not been taken lightly. To state that a claim is fraudulent is an inappropriate assertion. While in your possession our mattress was damaged there is nothing fraudulent about that. And the cleaning crew has nothing to gain by informing us about damages they witnessed.. The rest of your complaints are just noise. First of all I was on the internet working full days at the same time you claim it was going down 8 times a day (your initial claim was 5 times a day not that it is material) for 5 minutes at a time and did not have the same or similar experience. The house is a 1960’s vintage home that was freshened up with new paint, floors and counters just a few years ago. It unfortunate that you prefer to shed responsibility for the condition of a property while in your possession. I wish you luck in finding a more suitable property for your future travels
Great communication with the owner and a superb property.
