Arodafni Vavla Retreat is situated at an altitude of 500 metres at a distance of about 40 kms from Larnaca International Airport (LCA). The pleasant drive through the hilly countryside takes only 30 minutes. The Retreat is rests in over a hectare of an olive grove spotted with pine, almond as well as carob trees.
Zygi with its picturesque marina and scores of fish tavernas lies only fifteen minutes drive away while the famous Governor's Beach with its rich sandy cove is seventeen minutes away.
Vavla offers the best of both worlds: proximity to the beach but inland enough to relax in the dry climate as opposed to the humidity that pervades the coastline.
The 10,000-year-old Neolithic Settlement of Choirokoitia, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only ten km away. The Monastery of Agios Minas and the local winery of Christoudia, which welcomes guests for wine tasting, are only five km away.
Panagia tis Agapis (Chapel of our Lady of Love) chapel is a walkable three kilometres distance through the hills. The chapel is unique in the world in its dedication.
The busy port and business hub of Limassol lies 35 kms to the southwest.

This over a hectare of farmland was passed from father to son for generations: for hunderdeds of years olives have been harvested to produce virgin organic olive oil.
The olive farm is spotted with age long pine and cypress trees. Moreover, native almond trees blossoming in February embellish this olive grove with bright white colours.
