Luxurious historic villa set in over an acre of garden + private heated pool
The historic parts of Ca’n Lupal are over 200 years old. The estate originally housed the irrigation administration for this part of the valley of Sóller. Can Lupal is just a five minute (flat) walk to the central Square of Soller. The estate is hidden away behind remote controlled gates, with a private illuminated driveway and a large parking area next to the house.
In 2014, the property was completely refurbished, enlarged and equipped with state of the art technology. The villa has 5 double bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and sleeps 10 guests. The estate has large living and dining spaces, a luxuriously appointed kitchen, four large terraces, a large swimming pool (20 X 5 metres) and a wonderful garden with spectacular mountain views.
From the the original glass-paned double door you enter the large living room (50 square metres), which contains 3 sofas, a large flat screen TV (satellite) and an open fireplace. Two guest bedrooms are adjacent to the living room. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating (supplemented by wall heating in the historic section). All bedrooms and living areas are air-conditioned.
From the entrance hallway, 4 steps lead up to a large dining room with a table that seats 12, a wood furnace and open kitchen. Adjacent to the dining room are two further double guest rooms, each with en-suite baths. The fifth bedroom is on the lower ground floor and is an independent apartment - separate entrance, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. The guest apartment has natural light, AC and underfloor heating. The villa also has 2 cots and 2 highchairs for the younger members of your group!
Can Lupal has a fully equipped gym including Crosstrainer, barbells, mats and flat screen TV.
From the kitchen, glass doors open out onto the main terrace with a Weber gas barbeque and a table that seats 16. The uninterrupted views of the Tramuntana Mountains will take your breath away.
Set in over 5,000 square metres of landscaped gardens, Can Lupal has plenty of room to play football, pick fruit from the orchard (over 100 citrus trees!) and collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop. The saltwater pool is 20 X 5 metres and solar heated from the 1st April - 31st October. Surrounding the pool is a sunbathing area of 160 square metres plus a pool house which includes a shower, toilet and outdoor kitchen.
