This is our third stay at the house and as always, it was a wonderful experience. The house is perfectly located and we appreciate the deck with ocean view, the yard, the beach items. Everything we need for a relaxed beach vacation is here. We park our car and walk everywhere. Looking forward to our next stay.

It was a great location. Our daughter got married at the hotel and the location was two blocks from that and the shops. For some reason I thought the house was a free standing full house but it is actually connected to other "condos." Probably my fault. Nice great room and large TV and I loved that I could take my dogs. Felt like it was a bit expensive but it must be Del Mar. Host was very helpful and accommodating. We did enjoy our stay.

The amount of stairs was a big problem for our older dog. Not as close to the beach as listed. More like 10 min, not 5. Host was extremely helpful and wanted to get us anything we needed. Wish we had asked for a wagon! The house was clean with good amenities in kitchen. Picture of beach was misleading! Overall we had a great time with our grandchildren, their friends and our son.

Thank you, Melissa! I really appreciate your feedback! Even a few stairs can be an issue for anyone-sorry to hear this was a challenge for your older dog. The property isn’t beachfront, the ocean view can be misleading in pictures with the high California cliffs in Del Mar. The walk to the beach is a 5-10 minute walk depending pace. Unfortunately, the cliffs and the anatomy of the neighborhood do impact beach access for a lot of Del Mar properties. You’re right, wagons are huge contributor to a good beach play day! The house has been equipped with a beach wagon-thank you for letting me know it’s missing! A replacement will be waiting for you when you’d like to visit again. Thank you for allowing me to host you!

Fantastic location

What a wonderfully serene property this is. The hubub of downtown Del Mar is just a block away for when we wanted to go to shops and restaurants, and less than a block in the other direction was the Pacific. The house is so comfy and cozy and has lovely beachy decor. More than anything, tho, was the great care taken of us by Lauren was a gift. I’d stay here again at this gem of a home with a gem of a host over and over.

Great location! So many awesome places to walk to and a beautiful view of the sunset each day! There was plenty of room for our family or 4, and all the beds were really comfortable! The only disappointment was that the patio couch in the pictures had been replaced by a table. We were definitely daydreaming of lounging in the sun on the patio couch, and there was just a table and chairs there, so no room to lounge. Otherwise everything was awesome!

Grace! The location and view-complete with evening sunsets-are definitely the highlight of the house! Apologies for the missing outdoor lounge couch-a delightful place to relax and reflect-it was damaged and had to be laid to rest. The good news is new patio furniture (table chairs and lounge couch has been ordered and awaiting delivery! So keep that daydream alive and forward to sun soaking and lounging on that patio couch when it’s time for another visit to Del Mar!

You can’t beat the location — walk to ocean / walk to Del Mar Pizza for a slice or just enjoy the patio. House has everything you need — just bring a smile and enjoy — the host does an awesome job and the dog is cool….

Relaxing get away

Super easy to communicate with Lauren and the house is like the photos. The beds are comfy and it’s nice to relax on the porch. There is a bonus hammock in the front yard!
