About this property
Cozy Lakeside Home offers unbeatable location feet from Moosehead Lake
Located on the edge of Moosehead Lake, my recently renovated house offers unobstructed lake views from every room. The home is designed to creatively utilize 3 levels of living space while maximizing vistas of Moosehead Lake and Big Moose Mountain. One guest described the home as cozy with lots of character…a “tree house for adults” with all the modern comforts. • The main level is an open concept, contains the kitchen/dining/living rooms with a wood stove along with a full bathroom. Floor to ceiling windows along the kitchen and dining areas fill the main level with light and offer ever changing views of the lake, surrounding mountains and spectacular sunsets. • The upper level is comprised of a loft/catwalk with floor to ceiling windows, and two bedrooms – each with views of the lake, cathedral ceilings, queen beds and half-baths.
Note: The full bathroom on the main level is in service throughout the year. However, due to concerns about the possibility of freeze ups during extreme cold, the half-baths are not in service between November through March.
• The lower level offers another comfortable living room with a gas-fired wood stove, large sectional sofa w/pull out queen sofa bed, big screen TV w/surround-sound and foosball table. • The cabin is equipped with a completely automatic, whole-house generator so your stay won't be interrupted by a power outage.
There is a level, grassy lawn along the front of the house which is ideal for enjoying and unwinding at the edge of the lake. There is seating, a picnic table and fire pit which is perfect to shake-off the evening chill while roasting s’mores and star-gazing.
The shoreline along the lawn is rocky with deep, clear, refreshing water. Although suitable for adults to enjoy, the bottom is rocky so the best spot for families to swim is the common beach area which is a two minute walk from the house. This area has a pebbly bottom so water shoes are recommended.
The house is located in approximately 1 mile from Greenville’s town center and is part of an association of 7 cabins which share a 70 foot slate jetty along with a common beach area. There is parking for two vehicles. The setting is peaceful, and there are neighbors close by.
Although Greenville, Maine is a small town, it offers year round casual restaurants, a variety of shops and the convenience of a grocery store. There is even a family owned pharmacy with an authentic counter-serviced soda fountain.

Amazing property perfect location, at night I was able to see the Milky Way and more stars than I’ve ever seen in my life ! Every night a gorgeous sunset.Highly recommended !!!
Lovely lake getaway. You can't get a better location on Moosehead Lake. Cabin had everything we needed and was as described in the listing. Everett is an excellent host that went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely return in the future.
What a beautiful home on an amazing setting at Moosehead Lake. My husband and I went there for the International Sea Plane Fly In event. The Fly In was great and we were able to see a lot of it by staying at the house. We saw no need to go into downtown Greenville as the house itself on the lake was a real vacation. Everett is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend a stay at this property and will return!
Absolutely wonderful home located steps from Moosehead Lake. Panoramic views from the 1st and 2nd floors….breathtaking views of the sunsets. Excellent star gazing as well.Everett is such a great host…he even greeted us with freshly baked cinnamon buns and gave us a personal tour of the property. Conveniently located minutes from Greenville. I highly recommend the lobster roll at the Stress Free Moose restaurant. You can’t go wrong with this wonderful cabin…we would definitely return.
Awesome cabin, awesome location. Completely lakefront no hinder to the amazing views. Everything provided to enjoy a great relaxing getaway! Everette the host was great, responsive and extremely helpful with planning what to do in the area. Would definitely stay again.
Very clean cabin and great communication with our host. Great location right on the lake with beautiful views of fall foliage. We shopped at a few of the spots in the town of Greenville. We also drove around neighboring towns to see more colorful trees. And we also saw Mt Kineo. This was our 3rd time staying on Moosehead Lake and this place had the best view by far. We enjoyed listening to the loons one night. We also saw a moose while driving around one night.
Everett was an amazing host and made our stay memorable. The location is outstanding with a scenic view; the sound of the lake at night was very calming and relaxing. Highly recommended!
We had a great time------the cabin was beautiful; the lake was gorgeous! We really enjoyed our time in the area exploring and would go back in a heartbeat. The owner, Everett was very awesome :)
This was the perfect place to enjoy all the Moosehead has to offer. The views are unbeatable and the house/grounds are extraordinary. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful location. When the weather was clear, an ideal spot for star gazing. It was a little tricky getting our kayaks in the water. Overall a great spot.
Perfectly located cabin with just the most amazing views! We had the best time unwinding and taking in the scenery on the lake. Everrett was so hospitable and communicative throughout the rental process.
Cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature… the fall colors were the most amazing we’ve ever seen!
Very scenic and peaceful. Perfect for two couples. Liked that we were only a couple miles from town. Enjoyed hearing the Loons and watching the ducks. Everett was quick to respond when we had questions.
Our stay at this property was delightful in every way. The views are amazing, the owner is very responsive, the neighborhood is friendly, and everything in downtown Greenville is only a few minutes away.
If you're looking for a respite from a busy life and enjoy going to sleep listening to the lapping of waves and cries of loons, you'll love this property.
Great views, updated vintage Moosehead Cabin. So close to the water you fell asleep listening to the water lapping the shore and Loons calling. Everett, the owner was very helpful and responsive.
