About this property

Sea Aster, Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk

A bright and practical home tucked off the coast road in the popular village of Brancaster Staithe, Sea Aster is just a short walk from the coast path, staithe, great pubs and shops, and has the bonus of garage storage for bikes or a small boat.

Don't judge a book by its cover here. A fairly ordinary looking exterior hides a super home from home with cheerful coastal decor, a modern well-equipped kitchen and enclosed south facing garden. There's useful garage space for bikes, kayaks, small boats, prams etc, making Sea Aster a great choice for an active family holiday. The sitting / dining room is spacious and has french doors to the patio of the south facing garden, so you can get the deckchairs and barbecue out and make an evening of it after your active day exploring. In the cooler months wrap up and sit out with a warm drink while skeins of geese noisily fly over the house - a very memorable experience. Upstairs there's a king-size master bedroom and two twin rooms with glimpses of the marshes and creeks, plus a family bathroom and an additional downstairs cloakroom.

If you're looking for an easy, convenient home close to the coast path, bus links, staithes, beaches, nature reserves, fine eateries and independent shops, then Sea Aster will not disappoint.

Bustling with the sailing fraternity, Brancaster Staithe is just a couple of minutes drive from Brancaster. Home to Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club, the harbour is an exciting place. Book a boat trip with Branta Cruises and enjoy a day out at National Trust managed Scolt Head Island. This island is one of Norfolk's best kept secrets - don't miss out. In high season, fresh seafood and coffee can be bought from the shed on the hard (staithe).

10/10 Excellent

Real holiday house.

Quite a 'wow' factor when you open the door of a rather ordinary looking modern house and see the décor and view through to the pretty garden. Everything was clean and comfortable with a lovely Norfolk Coastal theme.

10/10 Excellent

Comfortable house, well situated

This is a well-equipped house that you immediately fell "at home" in. It is on an estate but we found it very quiet and peaceful. 5 minute walk to shops, petrol station and good little supermarket. The location is within easy travelling distance for the beaches, villages and stately homes of this part of Norfolk. The double bed was so comfortable that it was difficult to leave it in the morning! Recommended.
