About this property

Church Cottage, Thornham, Norfolk

This delightful white-washed, detached character cottage dates back to 1646 and is one of the oldest cottages in Thornham. Located on the edge of the saltmarshes that border the coastline, Church Cottage offers its guests an opportunity to experience an authentic Norfolk cottage in a stunning location.

Church Cottage is a charming property that provides eclectic interiors throughout, including a lovely open-plan kitchen/dining room and a separate living room with a cosy wood burning stove and beams. It is a real home from home with the added bonus of splendid views over the fields and just a minute's walk to the coastal path.

Commanding wonderful views from all the front windows towards the sea, you are only a short walk to the beach and a few minutes to the centre of the village with its plethora of eateries. With three award-winning pub/restaurants; The Orange Tree; The Chequer's and The Lifeboat Inn and the Thornham Deli cafe/restaurant in the centre of the village with its excellent local produce, you are spoilt for choice. With so much walking, eating and discovering literally on your doorstep, you won't even have to take your car out if you don't want to.
