Fabulously spacious, Mulberry Cottage is a really lovely seaside option for four. In a wonderful location very close to all the amenities of Wells, and with parking for two cars, what more could you want?

This delightful, double fronted period cottage ticks many boxes and will appeal to a small family, couples and friends who are looking for somewhere rather special to stay. A lot of thought has been put into the decor and furnishings to make it stand out and be just that little bit different. There's a mixture of new and some old, much loved family pieces to enjoy. With two bedrooms (king-size and twin), two bathrooms, and three living areas to chose from, as well as a modern, newly fitted kitchen, there's plenty of space here to keep everyone more than happy. Thoughtful extras for young families include a cot, portable bed guard, booster seats, high chair, stair gates and a fire guard, so the whole family will enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.

If you can bear to tear yourself away for the day, Mulberry Cottage is a lovely retreat to return to after a busy day exploring Wells, spending a day on the beach, or even venturing further afield. With so much to do, it might be hard to choose. And you've no need to worry about finding somewhere to park when you get back - there are two parking spaces here for you. But, if you just want to stay in and relax, there's no nicer place to be.

From the cottage, you are only a few minutes' walk from the centre of this ever popular seaside town, with its bustling quayside, independent shops, cafes and some great gastro pubs. It's only a ten minute walk to the quay and, if you are feeling energetic, and like walking, you can reach Wells beach in another ten to fifteen minutes (or quicker if you are super fit). It's well worth the effort - this is one of the most stunning beaches you will see. There is something here for everyone, at any time of year and whatever your age. And please don't leave without trying a spot of crabbing from the quay, and some of the freshest fish and chips around.

Wonderful cottage

Beautiful cottage. Clean and very homely. Comfy beds. loved the nice touch of goodies and bottle of wine. Will definitely book again didn’t want to leave. The stairs are steep but we didn’t find it an issue however someone who is less mobile might struggle going up and down stairs

A great week.

Thank you to the owners of Mulberry Cottage. The Cottage was beautiful, cosy and very well equipped. It’s was particularly great for my 4 year old who loved the play room at the back and there was a good selection of games and books. The welcome pack and the basic essentials provided where the best we have experienced with any of our previous rentals, it was a really nice gesture. The location is perfect if you want to spend a couple of days without the car. You can easily reach all the shops and restaurants and it’s a lovely stroll 30 minute stroll to the beach. It’s also great to have off street parking at the cottage which isn’t always a given so close to the centre in this village. We’ll be back.

Great cottage in Wells.

Really enjoyed our stay in this well equipped warm cottage in a great location. Lots of little extras left for us. Good parking too and an easy walk into Wells or the Globe Inn for a meal. The only reason we gave a 4 for comfort was because of the sofas. Not the most comfortable! The stairs also were a bit windy so had a hang on to the rails. Otherwise a lovely cottage.

Beautiful cosy cottage

We are delighted we chose to stay in Mulberry Cottage, the location was perfect for the town centre and we could walk to the beach within 30 minutes. The Cottage was very clean and felt very cosy. It was lovely to have a real christmas tree and the generous welcome pack of goodies left for us and the fresh flowers were extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and there was a good selection of books, dvd's and games and plenty for children too which was nice to see for those with young families. We loved the way the cottage had been decorated and the artwork in the snug room which gave an extra room to sit in and enjoy with lots of light. We'd happily stay at Mulberry Cottage again and would highly recommend it to others. Wells-next-the-sea is a great base for exploring the area and the beaches here and at Holkham and Brancaster are stunningly beautiful. The coastal hopper bus is also good to use if you want to do a long beach walk without the need to walk back again too.

Beautiful Cozy seaside cottage

Mulberry is beautiful cozy seaside cottage in the heart of Wells. A lovely welcome pack awaited us on our arrival. The owners have paid lots of attention to detail to make sure everything you need is on hand...loved the fish shaped ice cubes in the freezer, which went down well with our G&T’s. Also enjoyed the relaxing space to chill out and listen to music! And a nice big smart TV for those nights spent around the log burner...what more could you want?!

Christmas in Wells

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday at Mulberry Cottage which had been decorated in advance of our arrival. The cottage had everything we needed and had been beautifully modernised inside making it comfortable and stylish. The location worked well for us as it was only around 5 minutes walk from the high street and Quayside. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to take a break in Wells.

Great Again.

This was our second stay in Mulberry Cottage & for good reason. The cottage is well situated for the town as well as trips out. It has good parking which is not always the case in Wells. The cottage has a very warm & welcoming atmosphere. It is very clean & very well equipped. Two sofas in the sitting room is great for those who like to put their feet up. Although it is beside a road, traffic noise is not obtrusive. A really good place to stay.

Great location

Mulberry Cottage has lots of positives. Two parking spaces, comfortable beds, well equipped and in a brilliant location. Negative is that the stairs are very steep and the upstairs does not work to well. Lots of great space downstairs and all that you need.

Lovely cottage

We had a great stay at Mulberry cottage, we loved the decor and character- our boys said it was the best cottage we’ve ever stayed in! The cottage is in a good location, a short walk to the town and the path along to the beach and woods. The goodies, flowers and wine were a much appreciated touch.

A go back to cottage

Having stayed in Wells on a number of occasions, we had limited expectations. I am delighted to say that Mulberry Cottage did not disappoint. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. It has the great advantage of off road parking, not always easy to find in Wells. It is well situated in the town itself & convenient for the coast road, beaches, places of interest & places to eat. We really liked this cottage & hope to return. We highly recommend this cottagee.

Happy holiday with my wife and daughter in a lovely cottage in a beautiful place. A slight snag - stairs narrow and steep, and a few steps in other places, so you have to be fairly agile and careful!

We had a great stay in this lovely well equipped cottage. It was the perfect location with two young children due to having private parking, being on a quieter street but still easy walking to the high street and the option of travel cot a high chair provided. We really hope to return.

Well equipped house in excellent location.

Mulberry Cottage is in an excellent location for those with children- close enough to the centre to walk butfar enough away to be quiet. It was great to have designated private parking. The Quirky layout of the house suited us perfectly. The extra downstairs room perfect for a baby’s nap and a quiet place to read. The landing was great with the cot for baby’s sleeping away from grownups and the chair perfect for night feeds. The house is very well equipped and everything works. We were grateful to Norfolk Hideaways for providing sheets for the cot as we expected them to be there. Maybe a mention that cot bedding is not provided would be helpful when it says specifically that all sheets are there? We had a great holiday in this lovely house. Thank you.

Very relaxing stay at the cottage At wells next the sea.

Very thing you need for is there, It nice have bottle of wine for us when we arrive at the cottage, help us to reflex and planned week ahead, Perfect Information sheets of where to visited and Walking Book plus AA walking map is useful for visitors - to get round the coast. We are very lucky with the weather -dry most of the time. We love the character of the cottage - old but up-to-date mods and cons without ruining the old character feel 100 yrs approx old.

Very enjoyable stay in warm and comfortable cottage, plenty of space. Quite costly even in low season, but that just reflects popularity of the area I assume. Good location , just 5 mins or so from anywhere you wanted to go in town, but quiet in evenings. Will probably stay again

A great weeks holiday in a lovely cottage.

We spent a great week at the cottage with our 2 children, who loved it. The extra room at the back of the property is ideal as a play room for them. Also a small thing, but the heater under the coat rack was super for those cold mornings when you put a nice warm coat on. Would definitely return there again. Many Thanks...

Mulberry cottage

We visited Mulberry Cott with some friends in October. We love Wells and found that the cottage was in a very good location, 5mins from the quay and the high street, with all the fabulous services that Wells has to offer and as easy drive up and down the stunning North Norfolk coast. Great butchers, fab bakers, wet fish shop and great choice of local eateries. The cottage itself was great for 2 couples, it was very well kitted out, maintained and beautifully clean. Nice touches of basic supplies on arrival - nuts, wine & chocolate biscuits, great! The only down side would be for anyone not 100% fit as the stairs were very steep and there were quite a few small steps throughout the house. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, thank you

Wonderful Wells

On our arrival at the lovely Mulberry Cottage we were greeted with beautifully clean, pretty, and well equipped accommodation for our stay in Wells. The cottage is in an excellent location for both walks into town and to the beach and onto the main road to the surrounding areas of Holkham and Brancaster. Mulberry Cottage provided us with a wonderful base for our stay and had everything we required including a travel cot and booster seat for our 2 year old....and the wine in the fridge was much appreciated. We ordered an online shopping delivery, but there's a very good supermarket just 5 minutes away. We also had fish and chips from the local shop on the harbour which was fabulous! We would definitely recommend Mulberry Cottage to others and will be back soon.
