Welcome to Lochaber Lodges, a new development of luxury self-catering lodges to rent in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland. Our family run site offers you all the personal touches for a great getaway in a stunning location, with the assurance of Visit Scotland 4 star accreditation. We are situated 7 miles from Fort William on the banks of the Caledonian Canal with uninterrupted views over Anoach Mor and Ben Nevis. Whether you are looking for a tranquil and relaxing break, or a base to experience the Outdoor Capital of the UK- this is the ideal location.

Our lodges are equipped to exceptional standards for year round occupancy, with double-glazing and central heating for the colder winter months, and external decking to enjoy the benefits of the long daylight hours in the summer. Our luxury lodges also includes flat screen TV/DVD to lounge and bedroom, integrated dishwasher and microwave, free WiFi access, and full washing and drying facilities.

Set in a quiet and picturesque location this lodge was a perfect choice for relaxation. Our hosts were so easy to work with and provided some great ideas on where we could go each day. The lodge was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to cook a meal each night. Well maintained and very peaceful.

Wonderful peaceful property

Great little cabin. Bedrooms were small but had everything needed and comfortable beds. Nice living room with a lovely outlook. Good kitchen facilities. Great having 2 bathrooms with a family.

Lovely location

We had a nice stay and really enjoyed the views from the property. We had room for our whole party. We had hoped for basics like salt and cooking oil, but it was fine. Shops about 15 minutes away. Really nice dinner spot out on the deck overlooking the landscape. Nice central location to all we wanted to see and do. Thank you!

Quiet and Serene

This property is a couple of miles up a quiet country road from Fort William, and is absolutely peaceful. The view from the porch is breathtaking. We used it as a base for exploring the area and for climbing Ben Nevis. The property was spotless -- enough to please my very picky mother (which is saying something). The manager is a wonderful, friendly guy. This is the only true negative: while the pictures of the unit are true in that they are actually pictures of the unit, they do not convey that this is a trailer home with the absolute cheapest fixtures. For example, the vinyl front of one of the kitchen cabinets was coming unglued, and the walls and doors were very thin. Also, the two smaller bedrooms are tiny. If you are okay with this, then by all means, this place will be fine for you. The cleanliness and the views alone might be worth it.

The property is in a stunning location and was well presented. I would caution that the twin rooms are both small rooms. We had 5 adults and a teeneager in our party. The twin rooms were a bit tight for two adults / an adult and teen. The master bedroom is plenty spacious enough as is the lounge diner.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Blick auf Ben Nevis

1 Woche war die Lodge Harris unser Zuhause.Vermisst haben wir vielleicht eine zweite Bratpfanne, aber es ging natürlich auch so.Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Lodge in einem einwandfreiem Zustand.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schöner Bungalow , mit einer tollen Lage. Zwar etwas abseits, aber das wussten wir. Die beiden Zweibettzimmer sind sehr klein. Der Aufenthaltsbereich schön und großzügig. Ein wenig Renovierungsbedarf (Terrassentür, Sofa..)ist erkennbar, trotzdem sauber und ordentlich. Uns hat es gut gefallen, vielen Dank

What a fantastic place to stay, been to the Highlands many times and never stayed somewhere so nice the views of Ben Nevis are fantastic. Would definitely book again.
