Great Property

The condo was great - plenty of room - living rooms, nice baths, good bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Linens were plentiful and good quality. Very happy that the a/c worked well, as did the ceiling fans - very comfortable. The decor was very nice too

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year staying for a number of weeks in Sundial P301. The condo is spacious and very well equipped. The Sundial grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with a lovely pool and beach access. Unfortunately this condo needs some updating. The carpets are becoming shabby, the refacing on kitchen & bathroom cabinets and drawers needs repairing, and the washer/dryer should be replaced with newer models. None of these comments should matter to a short time renter, but they are annoying for a long term rental. The cleaning was adequate, but could have been improved. Select Vacations Staff is fantastic & they arranged for carpet steaming and additional cleaning. They immediately sent a handyman to address any necessary repairs. It's a pleasure dealing with them every step along the way. On Sanibel we love shelling & walking on the beach, Ding Darling, CROW lectures, Shell Museum, trying different restaurants, exercise classes & games at Center 4 Life (senior center), and attractions in Ft Myers and Naples.

Great location, poor upkeep

The property itself is in a beautiful location, and has wonderful views. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We used the coffee maker, microwave and stove tops without a problem. The toaster leaves a lot to be desired in terms of settings (no bagel) and function (the average sized bagels barely fit when cut). The cleaning of the property left a lot to be desired, but might not have been as noticeable if the apartment was better prepared for inhabitants. There are no ceiling lights, and when we arrived most of the table top lights were unplugged. In the process of plugging them in I got to look under and behind furniture and find things like used tissues. The master bath did not have a bath mat, and the sheets, bedding and towels are showing significant wear. The sliding doors were difficult to move. We got this property 3 or so days before we arrived, so perhaps they didn’t notice the late booking and prepared it last minute. We also did not complain while we were there, as nothing was flat out wrong.
